Brrr it really is cold!

I'm still in two minds about the ante-natel classes, don't know if I should book or not? Can't decide!

Brrrrr it is SO cold! This morning it was already freezing in the North where we live, but I work in Germiston and its SNOWING here!! Real snow! I've never seen it "in action" so to peak

KLK and Babyzee, I LOVE your scans! Mags I'm also going for my 4D next week (Monday) as well s my 28 week scan at gynae. Cant wait for either! KLK my edd is 5 Nov, if it is a csec probably around 22nd Oct (or that following week). Hoping to get some news on that too next Monday...

Magz please let us know how you find the classes. Mine was at Stork's Next, R1050 for 6 classes, they covered Pregnancy (general), Natural Birth, Csec and complications, Breastfeeding and bathing. No real early parenting stuff, that would have been very useful for me.

Congrats on the job Palesa! Great news, I'm so happy you could work something out with the new manager. My manager is also very understanding, though I still travel a lot (went to Polokwane and back yesterday...). Being a working mom, wow, it's going to be a challenge!

Anyone else have dogs/cats at home? We have 3 large dogs and a small black cat, and I'm a bit worried about them and new baby.

Thanks Everyone it was great to see baba in 4d i feel so much closer now, the baby looks so much like my son we think its another boy. Last night i was telling my son he should be nice to me or my baby will come out and kick him lol.

It seem that my family is also bonding better with the baby the doctor gave me the scan on a CD so we put in on the TV my son was rubbing my belly while looking at the screen it was too cute. God is great.

I also agree working sometimes is better for us, it keeps us sane you can enjoy a cup of coffee and adult conversation with no worries of looking around to see what the baby is doing and when you go home after work its so great meeting your little person.

Mosaneo, Palesa...its true...being a working girl is hard work. there are so many decisions and sacrifices that we need to make.

I've booked my 4D for next Tuesday...cant wait!

Just to give you guys a quick update on the antenatal classes.
I booked mine @mulbarton and they cover the following in 4 sessions, once a week for R900 per couple:
- Pregnancy in general
- Labour (stages of labour, what to expect, breathing etc..)
- Breastfeeding
- Early parenting

I guess you could always read up on these topics which i'm sure we're all doing, but i feel i need to reinforce the knowledge, especially the labour and what to expect in early parenting. And @R900 it really is not that bad.

Eya thats true, us working mommies have to toughen up. sometimes i wish i could be a teacher coz their working hours and holidays are great but then again the money is just way too horrible hey. Lecturing is better.

I pray to God i return to work after maternity leave but anywho i have to coz the bills wont pay themselves
