The lead up and the day of the stitch really is an emotional time. Be kind to yourself and let yourself cry when you need to. There's no good trying to bottle it all up. There are such strong emotions surrounding the whole thing. Big big hugs to you xx

hi ladies I finally went for my NT scan yesterday, everything looks fine with the baba, its just my cervix is so short 1.5cm which is worrying me but I am scheduled for my cerclage on Monday but I am just an emotional wreck I cried all the way from the scan yesterday. I am just terrified seems like its going to be a hard journey.whew. but I have to be strong for my little bean.and btw Dr said he is 90% sure its a little boy which made hubby very happy.

Sorry to hear she's got infection. Hope it clears quickly with treatment.

Lilymaud u just made me so emotional , glad to hear you are strong. I pray for a speedy recovery for your lil angel I am sure she will be home sooner than you think and she will grow up to be healthy and happy and you will even forget you ever went through that. You truly are an inspiration.keep shinning.

Well, baby's going to be in the NICU for 21 days... she's got infection. Doctor explained it was because I was dilated too early so he infection easily got into her. But she's been improving a loteveryday. They just need to keep her for the antibiotics to finish.

It's excitement on suspense, i Guess. but i trust the NICU can give my Lily the best care than to take her home right away. and by the time she comes home, she'll be a bit bigger, heavier, I suppose.

just glad also that i am part of the mommies' circle who were diagnosed with incompetent cervix and made it beyond 32 weeks... and to those who didnt, I want to say that always, there is a reason why babies arrive so much earlier. and to those who have lost, there's also a special purpose for that.

as for me, it's an eye opener. things seemed to b easy...but then, here comes God giving me a bigger responsibility that is in no way wrth risking. every step must be a "sure one" and it makes me just stronger even if sometimes, i break down inside.
