Incompetent Cervic

Thanks for the reply Huggles. I was diagnosed last year after I lost my son at 23 weeks. My current ob said in the next pregnancy he would place a cerclage. But I am still feeing a little nervous.

Where you on bed rest after the cerclage?

I have one. With my second pregnancy my doctor put in a mcdonald stitch (cervical cerclage) when I was 14 weeks. It helps to hold the cervix closed.

I hope you can help. Have any of you been diagnosed with an Incompetent cervix in pregnancy?? How did your doctors treat it?
