Hey Makky, really glad the procedure went well!
Good luck over the following weeks and I really hope things continue to go well. I also did the mini-milestones with my pregnancy and it helps so very much. Will be thinking of you!

lilymaud - great to hear your baby's home now! Wow, 1 month already! Sounds like she's doing great!

Good to hear that, Makky! All the best for you! :) I'm keeping you in my prayers.

My baba's home and she turned 1 month last Monday... She's a sweet baby, doesn't cry much. We also went to see her pediatrician and pedia's happy. Her feed's increased from 8ml (when she was born) to 15ml to 40ml to 45 ml, now 90 ml per feeding hour... Pedia says we just have to increase gradually by 10ml every week til she reaches 120ml... weee!

God is good.

hallo ladies I am so sorry I have been MIA, I had the cerclage inserted successfully on the 26 May, and have been on bedrest since, today is my first day back at work. Well according to DR Truter everything looks well and I have nothing to worry about.

I did have spotting for few days after the procedure but it has cleared up now, I just have occasional cramps which put me immediately on panic mode  its not an easy journey at all as I keep checking my pantyliner every now and then but I have to say there really has been nothing to worry about. I am just hoping for the best with each week that passes.

I am currently well on my way to finish off the 17th week in my pregnancy but I am aiming to reach 20wks for now then 24, then 30, then 35 etc whew

good thing that comforts me is when I feel baba's subtle movements and I feel better

hope everyone is doing ok, will check in every now and then ;)

Makky, hope the cerclage went all good and I wish you all the best in your pregnancy.

Huggles, your words and sharing have been an inspiration.

As for me, my baby is coming home this Sunday. She's been very active and responsive even to my husband's playing--he would raise her legs and arms and she would be grasping back. :) she stretches her arms and legs, too, and smile and pout, and have her own "antics" while sleeping.

Her antibiotics' last day would be Saturday and we are now de-isolated--she was moved to a new room today which we share with another mommy whose baby got jaundice. Plus, we are not required to wear masks anymore when going near her. :)

Hoping everything will be fine when she is home... We can't wait.

Hey Makky, Just wanted to wish you all the best for tomorrow, will be thinking of you.

Also wanted to mention, because I'm not sure if Dr Truter mentioned it or not, but a little bit of spotting after the procedure is normal. It's not a lot and only lasts 2-3 days, but it is normal. Just don't want you to panic if you spot a little and aren't expecting it. The nurses normally check your pad every couple of hours while you're still in the hospital, to make sure you're not bleeding a lot, but a little bit of spotting as a result of the procedure is normal.
