Oh that is such great news @BabyT! I can only imagine how relieved you are. I absolutely HATE it when stupid people stress you out about nothing, and the thing is, this your child, so of course you are going to worry!!

Stupid people!!

I phoned the doctor this morning and said that I do understand that if there is no issues with the blood work that they would not be phoning me, but that I can no longer wait and I just really need to know if everything is okay or not - and that the wait was stressing me out...

And with God's grace everything is absolutely normal and baby is healthy, must say that I have never been so relieved in my life, actually tearing up as I am typing this

@BabyT - any word from your doc? Hoping everything is just fine

@MrsMom - you must be sooo excited to see your little bean today, post some pic's when you have them!

Awh man, Congrats JLK!!!

Most of all we are wishing for a healthy baby, but we really won't mind expecting a little boy as well - hopefully at our next scan (17 weeks) it will be clear

Thanks for all the support ladies, I really do appreciate it a lot, will let you know as soon as we receive any sort of confirmation...

We have also now told everyone and except for one friend (who actually answered the announcement by "oh, well saying rather you than me...") the response, love and excitement has been overwhelming to say the least! Have received so many gifts as well

Welcome @JLK! And congrats on your little blue baby on the way! Boys are GREAT! But in all honesty I'm sure girls are too, I just dont have that point of reference

Hi Ladies,

I joined a couple of weeks ago but haven't had a chance to post yet.

We are expecting our second little one - due 11 Feb - after 3 losses.
Yay!

We had our 15 week ultrasound yesterday and the doctor was able to say with 100% certainty that we are expecting a little boy! Baby is healthy - measuring ahead by 3 days - and everything seems to be going well. I have an anterior placenta so only feel an occasional movement but that will also get better as baby grows.

My 3yo daughter had a little trouble believing that baby is a boy and had to argue with the doctor a little first. She is very excited to become a big sister and is counting down the time by who's birthday it is next

We announced the pregnancy and gender to family and friends on social media this morning and the response has been overwhelming! My phone hasn't been quiet all morning.
