Thanks TheMrs, I did ask my gynie yesterday and I will likely stay on Lexamil or transition onto eglonyl after birth. Either medication is fairly safe so I will likely stay on what I am taking.

Nix - I am on antidepressants. I was on them with both my son and daughter. I take 40mg nuzak, Which is a generic of prozac. I also don't go to my shrink anymore, but she gave me the thumbs up with the other 2, so I'm not even questioning it this time. I have spoken to different pharmacists who say TRY GET OFF IT. I know I cant. its NOT an option. I have read it is ok and I'm trusting that. But the negative stuff I read also makes me nervous. BUT I have 2 very healthy and happy children.
I was on Venlor and managed to move onto nuzak, which is a big leap and a hard move, but its waaaay better for pregnancy. Hang in there. Its hard worrying all the time. XXX

@nix & @STK - awww thanks for the pics! It's fascinating how much they change in a few short weeks!

@nix, sorry didn't realise I hadn't added the pic of the hairband, here you go! I wasn't brave enough to try it today and stuck to my leggings (after yesterday's pain with bloating and wearing uncomfortable pants all day...)

@MrsMom, glad to hear you're feeling better :) I'm writing that recipe in my baby book for future reference. Hubby's been banished to the spare room while he's got the flu - at least I can dose him with ViralChoice and all the other meds I can't take!

Thanks for sharing the pics STK and Bumblebee, so great to see all the growing babies :)

I went for my scan today and my due date is the 9th of Feb so am 11 weeks and 1 day. Really was amazing to see the development since the first scan a month ago

Baby moved around a lot, was also really cool to watch that. According to the doc, baby appears to be developing well. He measured the nuchal thickness which was normal, could see the brain and nasal bone - all good signs. I was pleasantly surprised to see that I have only picked up 2 kg's - I really felt like it was more than that!

I have attached a pic of baby

@ MrsMom, I have been crossfitting for just over two years now and I have chatted to my coaches and doctor and they all agree that it is save for me to go on as normal during the first trimester, so I am keeping at it - obviously I am doing a little less intensity now and also not 6 times a week, as I simply don’t have the energy.

But my one coach specializes in pregnancy crossfit, and he said that after 12 weeks he will adapt my programming so that it is still safe for me to continue. I really don't like running, so I have also gone from running with the dogs over weekends to simply walking them – we get out of the house to get some fresh air so it’s a win win.

I have heard that swimming is a very good low impact exercise, and my doctor said that this is one of the best exercises to continue doing throughout the entire pregnancy.

We have decided to announce that there is a baby on the way to the family this weekend - and I am so excited can't wait to see the reactions!!! After being married for six years I think everyone has just about given up on us adding a little munckin to the mix  and it will really be such a relief not to have to keep it a secret any longer.

I have also told my work about baby this week - as they are now much more understanding when it come to me always feeling bad, tired and a little high strung... I thought they would freak out but they have been very supportive and understanding - even got a practically brand new cot and compactum out of the deal, as my manager needs to get rid of hers and were looking for a new owner... Bargain :woohoo:
