Thanks Bumblebee! I totally understand the jeans problem, I can't wear any of mine now. I have picked up 3 or 4 kg's and they aren't just tight around the tummy
I am wearing leggings with long knitted tops and boots everyday now. They are comfy and will at least stretch with me to a point. I have some maternity stuff that a friend gave me, will hopefully fit in summer when I am bigger.

Glad your ms is manageable and getting better.

I don't see a psychiatrist, used to but was such a waist of time and money. I just see my GP when I need a repeat prescription. I have had this problem since I was 10 and been on various meds but I have been on this one for a good couple of years now. My gp and gynie said it's safe during pregnancy but I haven't asked about breast feeding. Will definitely ask tomorrow though. Was just hoping to hear from someone who has experienced it first hand.

Good luck with your scan tomorrow nix!
MrsMom, hope your flu is a little better?

We had our 9w4d scan yesterday and everything is going well. So magical to see the little line on the previous scan develop into a big-headed bean with arms and legs!

Morning sickness seems to be getting a little better - mostly bad in the early morning and evenings, but during the day is bearable. Asic tabs are still my best friend.

Realised after a very long and very painful day that jeans are longer an option, though a friend showed me a trick with a hairband and think that might help a little. I'd been walking around with the button undone for two weeks already, but now the zip needs to go. Bought some of the Carywell extenders, but think they will only work for a proper bump.

@nix, you'll have to ask your psychiatrist and pediatrician as different meds have different effects. The inserts will tell you not to use them, but sure your doctors can come up with a compromise.

Sorry...My message was longer, didn't post properly for some reason.

I have a question : Do any of you take antidepressants? I am trying to find out more about how they could affect baby while breast feeding.

MrsMom - I'm sorry that you are feeling so bad! The one thing that works like a bomb is:

1 x Lemon & it's juice
4 tablespoon honey (pref raw)
1⁄2 teaspoon cayenne (can use more if you want the heat)
2 tablespoon fresh ginger
2 cups water

DIRECTIONS

Boil water On stove
Peel and chop ginger into fine pieces.
Add chopped lemon after squeezing the juice into the pot. Add cayenne and ginger.

when cooled but still very hot, sieve, then add honey and drink. This recipe is 2 servings.
