Due February 2016

Hello Ladies, hope everyone is having a great day

I just came back from my doc visit, everything in order, a steady 159 bpm. She puts my due date between 26 and 28 Feb, she says we will be able to tell better when I am a bit further along. My next check will be between 12 and 13 weeks at the Fetal Assessment Clinic to check for all the syndromes and all that.

Hoping everyone is doing well otherwise

Carien - a friend has lent me the "what to expect when you are expecting" book. It is quite in depth and an interesting read.

I have decided that I would like to do the hypno-birthing course. Will start at the end of October. Haven't booked yet as I want to get to the second trimester first.

Going for a scan next week Wednesday, quite excited and nervous. I was thinking about postponing it so we could do the fetal assessment one as the next one but I am honestly eager to see how baby is doing as our first scan was at 6 weeks 3 days. It still feels hard to believe there is a baby inside as there is no bump or movement yet.

Thanks for the heads up moms! I feel nauseous for sort bursts? I really hope I don't get it as bad as I remember.
@ BabyT - Sorry about the hectic ms. Praying it disappears asap! I know with my daughter it was hectic and one day was GONE. I thought there was a problem. But she is 5 now.

Whooohoooo, STK so glad all is well for you guys.

I am really excited to go to our first scan on Friday...

TheMrs - mine started just before 6 week, it has gradually gotten worse and worse and by last Thursday I actually had myself my first little cry

How exciting @STK! so happy everything is going well, always so re-assuring to know that everything is right on track

If you ladies did want to read anything, I can recommend the book "What to expect when you're expecting"

I read it with my first pregnancy and it was very informative and answers quite a few questions that you might have.

I just want to share that we went for our 1st scan this morning - little bean is doing well, a mere 1.56cm with a heartbeat of 162 beats per minute - which is healthy at 8 weeks.

To answer your question from my side, mine kicked in with a vengeance at 5w2d and is going strong. Just hoping it subsides by the 2nd trimester, dont really think I can live with this for my whole pregnancy! I only had it for a few days here and there with my first pregnancy so just hoping this passes. Everyone says it must be a girl b/c they were only sick with girls, but will have to wait and see, if that is the case I think most of us are having girls!
