BumbleBee, so sorry to hear about your pain....

I must say that I have also been in a bit of pain, especially after a busy day - even though it is nothing like what you describe!

But something that really helps me with my hectic hip joint pain is when hubby massages the sore spots with icy hot before I go to bed at night, really helps me to sleep at night.

Must say, Karmi is kicking the living crap out of me as well! So much so that I actually think she is about to kick a couple of my ribs straight off my rib cage!

I am also feeling that her little body is really putting pressure on my lungs, sometimes I actually feel like I cant catch my breath until she moves.... Doctor says she is a tall baba, so that doesnt really help with the space issue.

I started washing all baby's stuff today, and I just looked at the full washing line with a massive smile on my face :-)

Good morning ladies!

Need a bit of a moan :( Went to buy some pajamas for my hospital bag yesterday (the shops seriously only stock XS, S & M what the hell??) and spent all of 1 hour on my feet before my stomach muscles and lower back were so sore I had to give up and go and wait in the car for hubby to finish his shopping. Spent a little bit of time on my feet throughout the rest of the day with rests in-between, but by bedtime I was so sore I just wanted to cry. This seems to be the trend these days - I waddle along and get really sore if I'm on my feet anything longer than 30 minutes.
I woke up at about 02:30 in so much pain that I thought I might be in labour. Felt like hectic period pain radiating from my lower back and abdomen right down to my toes. I decided to go to sleep and if it was serious it would wake me up again. At least the pain was gone this morning, but feeling bruised. I suspect most of the pain is due to inflammation (I have an autoimmune disease which has been nice and quite up till now) and Mia is really kicking the hell out of me. I really don't wish her to come before 37 weeks, but I honestly don't know how I'm going to get through the pain for another 8 weeks - she kicks me so hard I want to throw up sometimes! Apparently they start moving a little less as the space gets more cramped, I wonder if it'll get better? Seeing my doc tomorrow, but I suspect these are just pregnancy 'niggles' and nothing can be done.

On the up side, my mom is coming down for Christmas for a week from Wednesday and really looking forward to spending quality time with family :)

@Stormy - Wow that sounds scary, but im glad you and baby are healthy and doing well. I really hope baby stays put till term :)
I have also gained a good 10kg, looking at the scale scares me a bit, but its all for a good cause and my midwife says my weight gain is still on track. I had some sort of tummy bug last week and actually lost 200g at my last midwife visit, which made me feel kind of good to see the scale stay put - but I know I'm still due to gain as baby gains some fat :D

@BumbleBee, thats great that your doctor agreed to deliver at your hospital of choice - it takes a lot of stress off of you :P

@BabyT - Loving that pout! So cute!

Cant believe its only 3 days till Christmas! Where has this year gone! lol

So ladies..... Went to the doctor today and Karmi now weighs 1.6kg, due date moved to the 14th of Feb!!!

She is already lying with her head down, and this is the reason my ribs are feeling bruised - madame likes stretching and the ribs is a nice wall to kick against...

All is on track for a normal vaginal delivery

I will post a pic of the quilt when I post pics of the 4D scan on Thursday ;)

Wow Stormy that must have been frightening :( I know saying 'take it easy' is easier said than done, but hopefully you'll be able to take a break over the festive season? What has your boss been doing? Really glad to hear that Tempest's growth has caught up and she is doing so well :) Don't stress too much about the weight, I'd say based on your weeks you are pretty much on target - or still in the healthy range ;)

Aaaah my doctor is awesome! He's agreed to let me deliver at the hospital we chose! It's almost too good to be true and I'm scared to get to excited, but he's said I may submit my pre-authorisation to Discovery and notify the hospital, so I believe it's all in order :)
