Morning ladies, happy to hear those who saw the doc's got good news.
@Meijermom - sounds like you have extra reason to take it easy for a while. Hoping you feel better soon.
As for the mommies asking about leaking breasts - in my opinion, its a load of bull to say that if you dont leak you will not have enough milk! I didnt leak in my first pregnancy and I have not in this one and I fed my son for 7 months. I could have kept going, i just decided that was my cut off point. If you ladies have time, try join the la leche league FB page. They can get a little bit extreme there (feeding kids till past 5) but they also have very very helpful information there. As far as my knowledge - milk supply can be hampered if you have a glandular problem (this I think is the most common reason) and a few other things, but for the most part, you will have enough milk, you just have to keep at it. If you struggle, get help and do it quickly. There are lactation consultants available in all the hospitals and they are so nice and will really help you to get things going. It really is so daunting for a FTM trying to feed the baby when you are really just feeling around in the dark going on the information that you read or that someone told you. There is a hell of a difference between reading something and actually doing it (again, just my opinion).
Loving the nurseries ladies! Mine is no where near done! every weekend we say we will get it as close to done as possible and then just do a few things and dont get it done. I have my baby shower Saturday (supposed to be a surprise so I need to work on my "surprise" face

) so maybe we will get some things done Sunday. Once we have more things sorted I will post some pix as well.
Hoping everyone has a great day!
