@Nikita - I did not have early pregnancy symptoms. Only really started at 6 weeks. Honestly hoping it will end by 12 weeks so that I can enjoy it!

@gib - your first appointment. How awesome. I think at 7 weeks you will be able to hear the heartbeat.

Ladies for any of you interested in buying maternity wear (and believe me you will need it... ), Mr Price has a nice range. I doubt that you will find it in store though, but order online. I ordered a maxi dress last week Thursday and they just advised that it is at the store I chose for collection. You can also have it delivered to your home or work but at a fee of R 45. if you deliver it to a store of your choice it is R 5. Much better. And the prices are so so reasonable. I remember with my first pregnancy I paid very expensive at woolies and edgars and there was only like 3 or 4 to choose from. I got so bored with my clothes as I had to wear the same thing every 2nd or 3rd day.
I think that I will start buying something every month, then it is not such a big expense at one go.

My family guessed pretty quickly when we went for supper and I ordered an appletiser! Very unlike me to say no to a glass of wine

Booked my first doc appointment for next Thurs 17th September. Eeek, nervous. I will be 7 and a bit weeks then.

@Jay-Bee, I went on Sunday Morning after I POAS So maybe it will be good if I go Thursday afternoon??
I will ask DH to try and find out where we are going, maybe it is pasta or pizza lol if it is sushi then I will just eat all the veggie ones

@ Nikita, did you go for your bloodtest on Sat or Sun? Your levels should double every 48 hours. I couldn't wait and went 3 days after the first test and now again 3 days after the second test
Maybe suggest/hint to your family that you would like to go for eg, pizza

@Jay-Bee - I am not to sure when I must go again. Maybe I will go on Thursday or Friday or maybe I should wait for the weekend Any suggestions??

We will wait until I am 12 weeks, and then we will announce it to the parents.
So my birthday is on Friday and DH's on the 17th of Sep and my mom and dad will be taking us out, so now I am worried that they might be taking us to a sushi restaurant lol
