Oh my word Ninies you have a handsome boy, love the sign board! You must've gotten so many comments, what a special and exciting time! Brings tears to my eyes as we both have waited so long for this.

In a way its good that you have those pregnant symptoms as then you know there is a little one growing. I knew progesterone had such a effect, hope that is eases up a bit.

Morning Ladies

@Jaybee - I feel a bit better today. I usually struggle with constipation and in my previous pregnancy it just got worse. I remember I drank prune juice and started liking it.
I read on the internet that psyllum husks is also helpful with loads of water. So I am going to try this.
It is the increase in progesterone that causes constipation, and the doctor put me on utrogestan which is progesterone to keep my uterus soft and to avoid m/c. So it makes sense that I am constipated.

I seem to have all the symptoms that Ovia lists for the specific week - morning sickness/flatulence/fatigue/hungry/frequent urination...oh gosh and I am not even talking about the emotional side of it.

@Nikita - Welcome and congrats hun....so so good to have you hear.

And welcome to all the other ladies aswell. I think our due date will be two weeks earlier as I will be having a ceasarian - so maybe around easter time (8 April).

I am exactly 8 weeks today! :woohoo:
I am taking full advantage of this situation with my 3 year old boy. I always have to beg for a hug and kiss from him (boys  ) so now I told him that everytime he kisses and hugs me, he kisses and hugs the baby...now they are free flowing. I even get a kiss on my tummy every now and then...it is so so cute.

My hubby of course wanted to tell the world when we got a positive pregnancy test. I had to stop him and tell him lets first get to the doctor and see what he says. So after our first scan, and seeing baby in uterus, we announced. Hubby posted the below picture on facebook. He cant keep anything for himself. I wanted to wait for 12 weeks aswell.

@ Butterfly, my due date is also +- May :cheer: I hear you, hearing no heartbeat is my biggest fear or that something is wrong. My hubby and sister have to tell me constantly to stop worrying so much. I am getting my final blood results today to check my levels again and then I am going to make my first appointment too. You will find that this is a lovely bunch of ladies and we voice our fears, concerns and joys

@ Nikita, :woohoo:  So glad you are here! You are exactly one week behind me :) I went for my first blood test on Tuesday, my second one on Friday and now my final one today. Excited but a bit nervous to hear the results.
Funny that you mention mince as I am the exact opposite. I have not eaten mince for many many months as it just put me off and lastnight I just loved cottage pie.. with mince.. hmm strange :P
