Morning Ladies

@Blou how are you feeling today, last nite I had Braxton hicks it was so painfully it actually woke me up. my BD is complaining of my snoring he actually said "you should give birth and stop your snoring" lol

@ninies, so excited for you!! Hope all went well and hope to see an update and a picture soon

I have updated the list with my due date, which is in two days! Yes I am almost 40 weeks and still waiting patiently, getting quite a lot of braxton hicks, but no real signs of labour yet, just extremely uncomfortable when getting up after sitting or lying down for a long time, and when my bladder is full, I can barely move! My husband and I are going for walks now in the afternoon to see if we can get things going, I would not mind being overdue but I do not want to get to the stage where an induction is necessary, please keep me in your thoughts and prayers!

Emotionally I am doing quite well, everybody says I am extremely calm for somebody that could be going into labour soon, so I hope that is a good thing! I am still at work, and if baby does not come this week, I will finish on Friday

@CDLK ohhhh your SIL is drama queen, please put her in her place nicely. you have enough issues to deal with on your daily life.

@MamaK I can just imagine, that's what I am afraid of BOREDOM. even though is painful to get out of bed in the morning but I am thankful that I don't have to watch the clock ticking cause it will defiantly drive me crazy. but nevertheless enjoy your leave dear.

@Sonsbay its you and me after...I am little nervous though. I can believe we are on the count down. unlike you ladies I am not a crying person. instead I get very aggressive. lately I find myself at yelling at every1 and I hate it.

@Maj did you send the results to your team of doctors? what I know your doctor wont do something that will harm you or the baby. Trust him I am sure he knows what's best for you.

Im still confused about this iron IV! its just dragging on as I dont know what to do, so currently I am doing nothing
They eventually sent the report at 12:30 yesterday, and then called to ask if they can go ahead and arrange. I asked to speak to the dr as the levels were not as low as I thought. He only called me just before 14:00, explained everything and I told him, ok lets go ahead.
I assumed he would have told the receptionist, but I still haven't heard anything, and because I am so confused I haven't called again.
So I am still in limbo....

The lab said they can give me a copy of all my results, but I can only get it in person, they cannot email it or fax it to me.
@licious, i have been on supplements since I found out I was pregnant, but it hasn't gotten to the normal range. But we also have a family history of low iron, my mum had to get iron injections with all 5 pregnancies!!

@monei, how do u have the energy for gym?!!

@CDLK, im going to a zero salary hubby is soo worried, i think we will be fine, we just have to make a few changes as to what we spend on!
But I also want to go for a massage when I go on maternity leave, just to get a little spoilt!
maybe sit down with your SIL and tell her very nicely that she needs to grow up!! you have no issues with her, and if she keeps going on about nothing, its going to lead to issues!

@MamaK, can I send you a list of things you can help me with you are on leave! Its a tricky balance, if you were at work, you would be soo tired, but at home, its as if you are watching the clock!!
I wish I was on leave, but thats because I have this looong list of things i need to do before the baby arrives.

@ninies, we are all thinking of you right now! cant wait for the news!

@Sonsbaby, I am with you about being excited and terrified at the same time! its a weird feeling!

@Maj - how you feeling today?

@CDLK - I know the feeling about the being careful with the money, I will also be earning less but only 75% of my salary. A bit worried about the additional costs with the hospital and birth..they can never tell you exactly how much the extra costs is going to be! Its never nice to have that type of family problems hope it gets sorted soon! You right you don't need this kind of stress on you now! I don't have the same problem but my hubby's sister-in law is a pain as well! She thinks the world revolves around her (very snobbish!) and she can order us about when it suits her...lets just say she is beginning to realise she cannot order me about LOL and she does not like it one bit!! She tried to pick a fight last weekend and I popped her bubble so she hasn't spoken to me for days as if that bothers me really

@MajaK - maybe baby will drop in the next few days? Holding thumbs for you that baby wont be overdue!

Emotions wise I am feeling a bit better today although still tired and sore! Still getting now and again the cramps makes me wonder if baby wont be coming soon! I am excited about that idea and terrified at the same time LOL!! So much confusing emotions!!

@maj I know all about having family in the medical field, it can be very confusing when the views you get from your Dr are different from what family tells you. Hope you find the best solution for you.

This is my 2nd week on maternity leave, and truth be told I am super bored, the days are just longer. Re: emotions, I'm just in limbo mode, don't really know how/what I'm feeling half the time. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that baba hasn't "dropped" and that sort of depresses me cause in my mind there is still a step "missing" before labor can start. Kinda makes me think I'm gonna be overdue, sigh.

Jaybee - I'm in Jhb and trying to find a place that does mommy massages and that is not too pricey. Said to hubby last night we have to be very careful now with spending too much as I am only getting 50% of my salary from end of this month!

I am on maternity leave at last since Friday and I must say so glad I took it. Been feeling very uncomfortable and sore and the BH show up more often now. Hoping that baba will stick around until 21st when my c-section is booked.

I am with all of you ladies on the emotional thing. I am NOT a cryer but my word my emotions are just all over.

Still having issues with the sister in law. She is 10yrs younger than we are and a bit of a kardashian doll where I am completely opposite. I am very business and career orientated (which makes me look cold sometimes and tough I suppose) and she is all in to fashion and what happened on keeping up with the kardashians. I wasn't even aware there was an issue but she seems to think I don't like her and she's trying to dictate my husband and his brothers relationship. It's difficult for us as I have been in hubbies life since school days so I've known his brother since he was 15 and everything was always fine until missy came and made an issue. Urgh I am so irritated by the entire situation and REALLY do not need this crap at this point.

Anyway enough of a rant from me! Hope all you ladies have a fabulous day!
