I will also really appreciate those natural induction techniques so that baby doesn't get too comfy in there and not come before my due date. I know that I can accomplish my wishes as long as she plays her part and comes before my due date!

Nef you hit the nail on the head. I think gynaes hate to see us "suffer". I guess if a man said that he wanted to be smaked in the testicles voluntarily we would also say don't be crazy, rather do something else.

My therapist always says surgeons (gynaes) only know how to use the tools given and so they resort to using the 'hammer' even though there are other soloutions.

I think that is another problem. Our obgyns are gynaes too so they are very surgically orientated whereas in the uk they separate the speciality.

Yep only men would say that. My hubby also agreed coz I think he doesnt want me going natural.

I hope baby Zakumi comes ealy coz my LG came at 39weeks at that 4.1kg weight. I know all babies are not the same but I am praying.

If I see that babys weight is okay for VBAC I will mail you for the book.I am really not feeling csec and I am so scared I will go back.

Sorry to say that normal gestation is anything from 37 to 42 weeks, your baby would decide to come naturally when it's lungs are fully developed and ready for it to be born.

The dr said I will never be the same again if I think I will take out a 4.1kg baby. It was so
funny, I also think he is avoiding risk like Julz said. He is very soft spoken so I am sure he will allow me a trial birth if I want to.

I am just hoping baby will come at 38weeks coz I wanna book the csec for 39weeks.

Juandre, that's a good thing, induction significantly increases the risk of an assisted or a surgicl birth even for low or NO risk moms, you are in the higher risk catagory.
When you get to 37 weeks let me know, there are lots of natural induction techniques you can use

Julz- dr said def no induction so if baby doesn't come by my due date then I will be booked for a c-section.
