VBAC help or research

He is a wonderful, caring gynae. Like I said he is very pro natural.
In fact he only charges R500 more to do a c-section. To me this shows that he is not trying tomake moeny out of the c-sections he does do.

Nefertiti can answer this but I think a positive mind encourages positive results.

Keep moving around and do lots of squats. The rest is up to your lo.

I am so chuffed that you have been open minded and that your gynae is so supportive. If you can can you please post your gynaes details as many women here seek a pro natural or pro vbac gynae.

I decided before we even started TTC that I would have another c-section. I had a good experience with my first one and decided to go with what I know. Over the past months I have done a little bit of looking into trial labour, but not REALLY considering it. After attending antenatal classes and watching the video of a natural birth both DH and I would really love to experience that. So at my 32 week appointment I spoke to my gynae.
He is very pro natural and at my fist appointment with him at 9 weeks when I told him I wanted a c-section he asked if I knew I could go natural.
My gynae said the final decision would happen at 36 weeks and would be dependent on the size of the baby (he would not advise if baby is going to be over 3.5kg's) and how favourable my cervix is. He said if baby is not here by my due date I would have the c-section and that I could not be induced. He is happy for me to have an epidural if I do not manage the pain of labour- although I do want to try go all the way without it.

So my question is: How do I best prepare myself for a successful VBAC?
