I have a letter from my pdoc to say I am insane, so tread lightly with me, some days I can be a total bitch. I'm lying. Most days I am a total bitch.

Hi Juandre [wave]

thanks for all the mentions ladies (and the message Julz)- it's nice to be missed (and sorry for neglecting you all! you can always get hold of me if you need me though!)

Juandre, I have taught moms in both the UK and here wanting a VBAC, I have one due in the next 2 weeks!
The advantage of HypnoBirthing is that you remain calm and in control and that there is no forced pushing. This makes the birth process more comfortable and easier for the body, reducing the risk of scar rupture or damage to the pelvic floor.
The principles of HB are that if there is no fear of the birthing process there is no tension in the body which reduces and often eliminates pain (70% of women that use it use no pain relief at all)
How many weeks are you now?
It's certainly not too late to read the book! Otherwise daily affirmations, relaxation and visualisations will help.

Hi Juandre

I have done tons of research, and came upon 2 websites. www.birthworks.co.za and www.vbac.co.za. At birthworks there is lots of articles, and you can email the midwife Karen. If you want, I can email you the info I have gotten? My email esmari@jdsarc.co.za
