sonay, I am hoping son will make his arrival this weekend anyway So they won't have a choice, he he. He will be 37 weeks from menstrual cycle date, and he is already 37 weeks according to my scans in beginning of the pregnancy. So he will be full term definitely by the weekend.

Also there is a sms service on the babyboom website. You register, and then you put in all the numbers of people you want to receive the sms. Then once baby is born, you send just 1 sms to baby boom, and they will send sms to all the other people. I used this for my first son, and it worked well. Saves you the time of sending so many sms's.

Going out for lunch now, thank goodness, cause I am so bored at work lately. Will do bit of shopping.

I cannot believe our time has come!!! Felt like yesterday that we were all still complaining about those first triemester nausea and niggles. And now we're all probably counting the days till D-DAY.

Mels, that just sucks. Especially since you asked about your replacement well in advance. Some bosses can be real unsympathetic. Hope you get all the training and stuff done this week already.

AFM, I've finally packed our hospital bags. Must just make a list of things hubby might have to bring with afterwards, if needed, as well as the list of who he needs to sms, call or email. Hoping to have her room/spareroom set up and sorted by this weekend. At least most of her stuff is now nicely packed away in the compactum. But I forgot how many things a new-born actually have. Oh, and we've decided on a name for this little munchkin. Our family and friends are driving us insane because they all wasnt to know, but we've decided that this is the one thing everyone can wait for.

I am so excited to hear from Kerry and MamaM. Hope everything went well for both of them.

I am now 100% ready for baby, got Champaigne yesterday to celebrate once baby is here, he he he.

I asked my boss yesterday if I can have Monday and Tuesday off as well, and she said no we will have to see, coz there is still some work to be done (I need to train the one lady to do some of my work), but what upsets me is during the last month I kept on asking who is doing my work while I am on leave, and she kept saying she doesn't know, and just pulled up her shoulders. Now I can't go on leave earlier, coz they only decided this week who will be doing this work, and I now need to give training, urghh. But I will train the lady either today or tomorrow.

Anyway how is every one doing? I am REALLY battling to get out of bed (not because I am tired), it's because my body is so heavy and sore after I have laid down for a while.

I was just gonna ask Kerry why she has not had baby yet, her date was the 25th,. I see now she is being iduced this morning at 4am.

On a medical aid called CAMAF... they have been wonderful throughout, really, i even have a pregnancy case worker who does it all for me and i got a CAMAF baby bag filled with goodies - and nice ones, a baby care book, a cuddlewrap, some bath toys products... all sorts actually. so far i have only had to pay a R500 bed booking fee to my gynea and a R100 admin fee for each appointment.

Sonay, the cell phone logging in trouble is that this site is very big, so it is very slow and i guess if you have bad signal where you are it makes it even worse.

and then to the news looks like the wait is over, went to the gynea this afternoon and though baby is 3.5kg and looking good the placenta is looking very calcified and doc didn't seem happy to leave it to chance so shes booked me in for induction at 4am tomorrow morning, wish me luck!

I agree, it just sucks when people ask you at this stage still what you need. Really now.

Sounds like a lot of you have issues with your MA. So far we didn't have any issues. The only thing is that they only pay for me for 2 nights in hospital with a CS. Hubby will take it up with them again today or tomorrow.

Been for my last gynae visit this morning (I can not believe it!!!) Baby has turned AGAIN, don't know where she finds the space. Dr recons it might have happened last week when I had those bad contractions. She's laying head down now and I can definitely feel it. Dr could not get proper head measurements, but based on the other measurements her EFW is 3.2kg, at 37 wks. I have to book in at 5am next Friday.

Must say I am getting a bit anxious now, not sure why, but I guess it's normal. I'm off to get our hospital bags ready immediately. I know it should have been done long ago, but I've just been too relaxed.

PS. Anyone in contact with any of the ladies due now? Please keep us updated
