Hello waddling fairies
I feel all your aches and pains, been experiencing them for a while now. And was able to wear my wedding rings up until last week, now they're just too tight. I find taking calcium and slowmag before bed definitely helps with the leg and pelvic aches and I've started taking arnica tablets already and will continue for a few weeks after the birth to help with the stiff aching muscles (and bruising after birth).
Last night I had proper practice labour (BH), it was a little more intense than I anticipated. Not bad enough to make me get out of bed but kept me awake and with each wave I would try turn to the other side to relieve it a little. Felt mostly like heavy period cramps and my lower back was aching too. Also my boy was moving around alot, contributing to the stretching and aching. But once I got out of bed this morning and walked around a bit, all gone. So definitely not real labour. Will wait and see if it happens again tonight
Feel so tired today, can't get going. I'm going to have a nice shower now and do some washing - can't believe how much more I used to do in my "previous life"

.
DH and I had 3 social plans on Sunday and we cancelled all 3 because we did a PnP Hyper shop and I was finished afterwards. In our "old lives" we would have gone to all 3 social engagements and probably done the shopping too!
Oh well, I'm so focused on baby now, all other things are falling by the wayside. I can't wait to meet him
Ntoko, my gynae only did the first internal at my 38 week appointment last week and my cervix was closed. I'm going again on thursday for my 39 week and he'll do another one.
Meekah, still check with your gynae but I've also had discharge for ages and my cervix was closed last week. Its one of the signs of the body getting ready for birth and things softening down there and also our bodies are creating more fluid and increasing blood flow
Good luck for the 2nd Ginah! That is my edd but I don't know if I'm going to last that long. I can't believe you still have to go in to work next week, I hope you can get things done quickly and go back home as soon as possible
