Any news from MamaM this morning? It must be so frustrating for her. Trust she's doing well.

Ginah, also find it strange that you didn't even do the urine tests?!?! And I thought my doc was relaxed! I only went for those routine bloods at 15 weeks, no other bloods, he does the FA scans himself. And I've only seen him every 4 weeks for the entire pregnancy.

Mags, I think it's the Strep B test. Not sure if it's a blood or swab. They do it especially if you having a normal birth as the bug can be transferred to the baby during the birthing process.

AFM, I am in such a state of anxiety. Don't know why. Woke up every 2 hrs last night to wee and I can't get this idea out of my mind that this baby might decide to come earlier. Think it is because every one is telling me that ever since they heard what her EFW is. Added to that, I have a dull but constant lower back pain and obviously lots of pressure in my pelvic area. Whatever happened, I think we're ready for her. Just everyday things I want to sort out.

Hey ladies

Yes I am excited that I am having baby in 5days exactly.
I dont know why Dr has never tested my urien honestly.
I saw another lady at the doctors had the urine container.

My Dr does the weight and BP plus scan himself. I asked
him once about the urine and he said my BP is fine so there is
nothing to worry about.

I dont know why baby lost 0.2g coz all along she way ahead, but then the Dr said baby is very squashed in there so maybe the measurements are wrong. I have a very calm Dr he doesnt seem to worry much about stuff. Just hope and pray all goes well. As for me he says its probably because of the lots of rest this week. I was just happy to still be in double digits and not triple digits.

Update from Mama-M: Last night, there was still no progress at all. Her mucus plug came out in the afternoon. Thats all. She will update us if there`s any news.

Ginah - A few more days to go I envy you. Funny that ur doc doesn`t do urine test How does he check for protein & stuff then? Everytime i go for my appointment i take a urine test, its a routine now, they even put the bottles at reception for us now. What do you expect the birth weight of the baby to be? Was doc concerned with the weight loss? Sorry for too many questions.

yes you do the Strep B i think its called for the infection at 36 weeks. I will do mine next week when i go, Ginah I have done a urine test every time i go visit my gynae, first thing I do, is take the bottle and do my thing and the recpetionist tests it. then I do the weight and gynae does scan etc and check my blood pressure every time....its routine. Know of alot of girls doing urine tests as well.
