When i was little i was a member of the disney book club and i loved it soo much, i literally waited at the postbox every couple of weeks when the books were due.

Then for the next few weeks every night i would read those two books to my dad at bedtime...

So the other day i noticed on the right there that the disney book club is still around! and i thought i would share that link with my mom with my mom, it would bring back good memories... she said nothing, but later emailed me back the joining confirmation.

Ginah - thats excellent, you will at least feel much better. it doesn't have to be huge but at least you get to be with your friends and celebrate.

Phew thank the lord its friday and i can sleep in tomorrow Hubby's working his last weekend shift till after the birth. What a bonus, his boss wouldn't put him on weekends coz they only have one agent in over the weekend and if i go into laboour hubby will have to leave the floor unattended.

Yeah our thread is quiet.

Zakumi is big u should see how big my tummy is ppl have been asking if I am carrying twins. I guess its hubbys genes, he was 4.5 at birth and my LG was 4.1 kg @39weeks.

@Sher I feel better now its just that I have never had anyone talk about a Dr Pillay. I think I will still go with the 2nd provided all is good with baby. I also like the fact when I get back to work in Jan she will be a full 4months.
Yeah Sher u are a week behind but you are going for natural thats why your baba might come later,but then some ppl go into early labour.

@Kerry I took your advice and spoke to BFF about a get together coz these days everyone is so busy we hardly have time to get together. So I sent her a couple of names, I excluded my sils coz they didnt think of it, plus I wanna be comfy with a few close friends.

Wow Sonay you are going in a day after me how nice. Now ladies who of you here are on FB? I have been trying to think of a way we can inform each other about our babies arrivals.

Hi Ladies
Where is everyone? It is so quiet on this thread.
Been for a check-up today. All is well with our little girl. Although Ginah, compared to Zakumi, she is pretty small. EFW at 33 wks is just above 2kgs. My gynae works on the scans for the due date instead of the LMP. And based on that I am now due the 14th Sept, last date I was working on was the 17th. I'm not too phased on it though, as long as baby is fine. My CS is now scheduled for 3 Sept. She has turned again, so her head was right under my ribs today, no wonder it is so tender.
The finality of the date has sort of put me in a panic. I still have to make all the things for her room, rinse all her stuff and pack our bags. Added to that, hubby and big brother will be going away for a week, so I will be alone sorting all these things out. On the one hand it might be a good thing as I can then do things in peace. I'm also planning on cooking up a storm during that week. Stuff to freeze away so we don't have to worry about cooking for the first week or two. At this stage it doesn't look like I'll be getting anyone to come help out after baby, so I just want to be as prepared as possible.

Ginah thats a good weight ....she will still put on alot more even if you have the C sec that early.
With my last appointment there was a lady also having her baby on the 1st yet she is also as far as I am but she has Gestational diabetes and her baby was 2.5kg's or thereabouts already....
She looks like a realitively petite built person but her tummy is huge... I think its more water retention then anything.

I am seriously tired when I get home in the evenings and I still have 5 weeks to work.
No temp for my work yet, even though I've asked many times so frankly I don't care ....
I will start worrying when I get back from leave
Had those pelvic pains for the first time last night ...I ended up hunched over and just thought oh dear this can't be it but within half an hour or so and walking around they went away thankfully.
So now I am in full panic mode and will be packing bags this weekend still just incase
You would think that if you've been through it once before you would know what to look out for....lol. I guess I forgot??
