Ginah, I think thats the spirit, try to keep baby as long as you can in there.... and I know you want the gynae you went to see through out the pregnancy,but sure they all good cause its their jobs. if you knew earlier, you could have changed gynaes .... but all will be good

I went for my first antenatal classes last night. was good but basics on first day, so all that was in the pregnancy book that i bought when first pregnant, next week is movies, about the birth. well normal first.

this weekend is my shopping as I am 32 weeks next week and I am going to see our folks for the long weekend so bags must be packed

Guess time is really flying, in a few weeks we'll b holding our bundles of joy.
I'll pack my hospital bag this wkend, m sure I would hv bought everythng by then.

@Ginah-try not 2 stress abt not hvn a baby shower. My frenz also didn't organise me one, I only had 1 that was organised by my collegues

Today iv jus been awfully sick
I feel sooo heavy, had heart burn for the 1st time 2nyt, can't wash my own feet, my tummy is gettin bigger everyday, get hungry @ 2am, walking is terrible evn getting off a couch.

Finally painted the babyrooma and hung up the curtains. Will take pics once the compactum is here coz right now it looks like my LGs room and not a baby room.

@Sher I think I dont have a choice in the matter will have to go with a stand in dr.
As uncomfy as I am 37 weeks is a bit early.

I am sad to day just realised that I am really not having a baby shower. 2 of my friends phoned me asking me when it is and why they havent been invited, so I figured its not happening. Agh I will get over it and its my second child anyway. Didnt think my frens were like that, disappointed.

So happy for all that had their showers, hope u had fun.

Just popping in to say "Hi". Weekend was ok, rested. I havent bought all the baby stuff, just things foe my hospital bags.

Hope you all had a great weekend

Went to Canal Walk on Sat for a lovely 90min massage & pedi but then spent the next 5 hours (no seriously, from 11h00-16h00) shopping up a storm. My feet are still sore today! (even tho DH gave me such a nice foot rub last night )
So now I have everything for my hospital bag which I will pack tonight and all the toiletries for bubs (I eventually found some summer-weight front-opening pj's at Edgars!)
I told DH that it will be expensive so he wouldn't have a heart attack, but I don't know how long the R2000 worth of baby toiletries will last eish

Nope haven't bought summer PJ's yet, i just packed my bags with the winter ones as a temporary solution

Had my baby shower this weekend, now i have baby clothes to last forever... didn't get much newborn though, but enough goodies to pack my bags and be ready as i am going to get, but i will go shopping sometime for summer PJ's maybe next weekend and let you guys know.

@Kerry, no she does a every two weeks scan from 32 till birth for all her clients.

I think most of the gynaes at Fourways Life has same protocols and costs. Ginah gynae is also seeing her every two weeks.

she is a young doctor and she takes every precaution in the book. strict doc

as long as my baby is fine and healthy which she is, I am glad to go as many times to her, at least I can see my baby more often after next week, as 4 weeks is a long time.....
