That's why I always come back here; at least then I don't feel alone and like I'm complaining the whole time. So sorry to hear that most of you are also struggling a lot with aches and pains. We only have a couple of weeks left, yippee.

@the ladies that had BS, you are very fortunate. Those gifts sure does help a lot.
@ the ladies that didn't have one thus far, let's hope our friends are doing it at the last minute, although I'm not holding my breath.

I went shopping today for the last things I need for the first few weeks, I'm done waiting on the BS. The room is finally painted and I can move the rest of our boys' stuff out of there tonight. Then I can start getting it ready for little munchkin, bought all the fabric today. Lots of work for me for the next couple of days/weeks.

We're seeing the dr again on Thursday, can't wait to see how much she has grown. And hopefully we'll then get the final date for my CS.

WRT to the pubic pain, do you have any advice on what to do to make it more bearable? Will discuss it with dr on Thursday, but I'm sure he's just gonna tell me to pop a panado. Walking and driving are also becoming quite difficult now.

Sorry to all the ladies that won't have a babyshower, the gifts do help. Maybe there will still be one, with my first pregnancy I only had my babyshower at 34 weeks. Also, like my husband's niece organised her own babyshower, so maybe you can do that. Just ask a friend to help,

Ladies I am sooo tired the last week, I can hardly get up, and like today I just want to sleep. Urggghh, but I still manage to get up to do my exercising. Saw a yoga book at my mom's on Sunday, and thought maybe I should try and squeeze in some time for yoga, but that's going to be difficult.

Oh, I was soooo upset this morning. I used a different midwife in the beginning of my pregnancy, so this morning I get an e-mail from discovery saying they paid for the birth of my child to that midwife. I go so p@ssed off, as this took all my savings, and i felt that i already got authorization for my birth with another midwife, so they should have checked, but they said no they don't check this, and I need to sort out with that midwife. Phoned her, and she realised she sent my information for another ladies' birth. Urgghh. She sorted this out now, but I need to wait 48 hours before my savings will be added back to my account. Can't believe there is no control over whom they pay. Oh and I don't even think she had a copy of my medical aid card, that's scary.

I also cant wait for the leave... every morning is a struggle to get myself to sork on time... and every morning i leave a little later... Starting to get to work late, which just isn't me!

and in the evenings i just want to aleep... last night i managed to pack the lovely 3-6 month baby clothes from the shower into a tub for the top of the cupboard and then i cooked supper and after that i was exhausted... my poor lil puppy was begging me to go play outside and i just couldn't... i feel so bad i better make it up to her tonight

Ginah, i recommend you appoint whichever friend it was that asked wether you are having a shower as a shower thrower and give her a list of some friends and see what she can do... perhaps it's just that everyone is waiting for someone else to do it? Theres nothing wrong with a little prompting! Also i know some people like to throw the shower after baby is born... my maid of honour from my wedding suggested it for mine So theres more than enough time


and if you "accidentally" let slip your address maybe each of us here could send you a little something - everyone should get a shower

Hi Everyone!

I feel what everyone is going through, I'm also tired now and can't wait for maternity leave which is in 2 weeks time if I don't count this week. My tummy is getting heavier and heavier and baby hasn't stopped growing....I'm short so don't really know where more space is going to come from for my big boy !

Am getting my hospital bag stuff this weekend, looking forward to it and then I'll get packing...yey! I went home to KZN this past weekend (my last flight at 34 weeks!)and my friends from DBN threw me a baby shower...it was lovely indeed. I know I'm having 2 more baby-showers, one here at work and another one with my Jhb friends.........can't wait, I love getting gifts for my little angel !

Ginah - Dont worry about the shower. I haven`t had one from friends and i doubt i will have it.

Makaozie - Bags neh Mine is ready i just need the "bag". But haven`t bought any thing for baby bag. Gal i also have problem walking now. It feels like something is pushing & pulling in my vigina And i feel so heavy.
