Hallo Ladies,

Sorry I have been so quiet!! Well hasnt it been a whirlwind? I am so busy what with moving and keeping my little girl happy and the dogs etc.

Really crazy time in my life but loving it. Madam goes where I go, I am very relaxed with her but I just feel she has to be with me in all the chaos at the moment.

My angel is 2 months old today and just the most beautiful thing smiling and chatting away when she lies kicking in the mornings after her dad leaves for work.

I am sure it will come right soon. KerryA thanx for the great advice. BabyKsmom, so sorry about the break in but well done on starting to do some work already! I was reading a poll on another forum yesterday about taking baby camping. Ppl were taking baby from 2 wks and up camping and saying wot fun it was! I feel like a serious underachiever! Even 2 go to the shop with Gabi feels like a big accomplishment! Lol! Take care all!

Sorry to hear abt the break in babyK'sMom. True what you say abt your privacy being violated. Just glad you guys are ok. Your little one is too cute. Love his outfit.

My little princess is 2 months today. And she's keeping me quite busy, hence me not posting a lot any more. But all is well on our side, ok that's beside her still having colic. ATM I feel she is bothered more by stubborn winds than anything. But one can see she's getting more mature since all these issues are getting less. I so much want to get her into more of a routine, but not winning it yet. I now put her in her pram for daytime naps. Starting off in a sitting position and once she's asleep, I lower the seat completely. She prefers the sitting position.

She just woke up now and demands attention. Chat again, soon, I hope.

Hi mommies

Haven't had time to post for a while but just popping in to say hi.
Definitely still around and I try to read all the posts but not able to post myself as much. I'm sure this will get better as I learn to re-adjust everything. I'm starting to do a little bit of work again too, wow, can't believe how much I used to fit in before baby

We were broken into on Friday night and they stole my laptop, amongst other things. I had my whole life on there! And lots of baby photos and baby stuff. Luckily we still have the baby photos on memory cards but still, it's such a violation when they come into your home and take your stuff. I hope they've wiped everything to re-sell, instead of looking through all my folders

But even though its made me so sad, my little boy cheers me up so much. Its like you say, their smiles are enough to make all the bad things go away. He is just too sweet and getting sweeter by the day.

He slept through 2 nights in a row from about 9/ 10pm to 4:45am both mornings but then last night was back to his old routine of 8/ 9pm to 2am then up again at 5:30. Only this morning at 5:30 he was so hungry he had me running to get his bottle ready so Dad could feed him while I pumped (I'm building up some breastmilk stock). And then he's been very hungry today. Maybe another growth spurt? Who knows with these little beans...

He had his 8 week shots on thursday, they weren't too bad, he wasn't really that feverish, only gave him calpol once.

Sonay, John is also only pooing every 2nd day or so and its a hooooge one when it is but still runny so I'm not worried. It seems that everyone's babies have started to poo less now so it must be normal And I was also beating myself up a bit about giving him a complementary bottle of formula but we've been doing it since 6 weeks and I feel much better for it, less stressful and he enjoys it. I still pump so he is also getting breastmilk bottles and then I b/f him about 2 or 3 times a day as well. He is happier and I am happier. I really struggled with the whole b/f thing.

Hey that's really interesting re: the milk supply becoming less cos I was wondering if mine was dwindling, it feels like it too and I'm not always pumping as much quantity. But yesterday and today John has been extra hungry so I've fed him more often so I'm guessing that my milk supply is increasing accordingly now again. That whole supply and demand thing...

John weighs 5.05kg now and is 57/ 58cm long. The nurse reckons he could gain a little bit more to compensate for his height if he goes through a growth spurt. Here is a pic of him in his little league baseball outfit
