U are right....Addy has not watched annie in about 2w...but I tell u she waits for the scenes she loves...she knows what's coming...Before the cop chases annie she is yelling 'run run'. She starts dancing when she knows a routine is going to start and tries to copy the moves.

And the kids love praise...they are so proud of themselves when they remember more, etc. Sweet to watch.

Dh just got home...man I am so cold...

Well my child hates her cot...she refuses point blank to stay in. so I let her lay in my bed...and I was lying next to her...and she slept. Signs she hates confine of cot and maybe bigger bed time??

Yoza - I am going to PE in september and Julz was going to , but she changed her mind. I will only be there for the night of the 14th as i am going to a resort on the 15th with pe family.

Gals - we got a report and it is nice but its also nice for kids to get to stay at home too! We went to the school picnic last week and as simone says - Repitition rules. They actually stand in a circle each morning and sing about 10 songs with actions and by doing it each morning after play time outside, the kids actually run to the mat and all sit down. Ead day they learn a bit more and copy more and more actions - they include greeting songs and counting songs and ring a ring a rosys for holding hands and falling on the floor so its really clever - i just thought that it is something that you guys can do with kids at home anyway - i think thats why addy loves watching the same videos alot!! too cute!

Lisha if that is the case re:creche then I'm happy to send when 4 as well....as long as cynthia is around. Socially I just need to stay on the ball with playdates and sunday school...and we should be fine. Academically I'm not worried...will try to get age appropriate material to keep stimulated.

Bought Addy a lovely black and red pants and red jersey at ackermans, an ugly tracksuit...only cause it was cheap and for home use. And another hoodie top.and then a colouring book, a noah and the ark thing...has animal figurines and the story and a play mat. And barney bubbles and the dvd. Spoilt her a bit...shame she is michael jackson with don't touch my ankle pants...6-12m cause she does not seem to have enough winter stuff yet!

Nelria no I definitely like your action plan u had with the name. I learnt good lesson! Lol.... I got a comment from a father...that we watch too much grey's anatomy as there was 'Addison' for one season?? Like really! They named their lg carys. Not my liking but I never said so...no idea why people are so rude!

Julz enjoy the whisky tasting, if I were in CT I would have gone with you, not that I drink but just for the fun of it.

AFM, we are doing fine. E is just getting very big and the words are more and better pronounced each day. E weighs 14kg and is 87cm tall.
He gave his mom a blue eye over the weekend – so yes everybody wants to know what happened. Then I ask do you want the truth or the ‘other’ version… Regarding crèche – we are also sending him next year and only half day. He is only going for the social interaction, because we can see that he loves playing with other kids. He is a picky eater and the nanny still feeds him, but with us he eats all by himself.
With the weaning it is not going well. Wish there was another way of doing it. I hate the crying. Don’t know how I’m going to him to sleep in his bed also. Will tackle that after the weaning. According to his mom – me – he will be a professional dancer one day. Wish you could see him dance. Hands in the air and shake the booty

LOL Angie that is so funny! How wierd though, last week when I had AF, Abi came in while I was inserting a tampon (again TMI lol) and I found her the next day taking the applicator out of the dustbin and pushing it into her nappy LOL LOL LOL C and I could not stop laughing!! It was kinda gross but really funny

Nelria those pics are gorgeous! And don't think the name thing doesn't happen with normal names. My family were upset coz I didn't name Abi after my mom...but Ronel Ryder just does not sound right!! I said it's my daughter so I'll call her what I want!
