Hi Angie...long time no see! Glad you and CJ are doing well!

So got Annie DVD for Addison finally! Shame she asks for Annie EVERYDAY!!

Nelria i will do exact same next time....though i got alot of negative comments about the name 'Addison'...and it made me VERY upset. The most common one was: 'why not Madisson?'? Um because i fu*&^%$ like Addison! My friend even said to me casually...oh my colleagues were asking why not Madisson? And i dont even know her colleagues...but back door kinda comment. OOH made me mad (can u tell???)lol.

So next time..i tell moomie peeps...and my family...nobody else, especially my in laws!

Hi everyone, how my gosh I had so much to catch up on so bare with me... i've been so busy at work, and nanny had problems with her kid last week and yesterday so had to come to work a bit and the go home, and cannot log on at home!

Oh, my word Nelria Xen is absolutely adorable, he looks so content and relaxed with his arms and legs stretched out, I can see you are using message - it really helps to relax the LO! So happy for you that DH is helping so much, and cute little Lea being a big sis to her brother!

Vix and Ally, I agree I am also going to send Cj to creche after he turned two - just for three days a week half day, and then full time after he turned three! We spend a lot more time teaching them than we think, and like Ally said when you compare them to peers they are on par!!!! Agree with Simone repeating things are NB - and that is exactly what they do in school! Although CJ is not talking that much!?! I am not worried as he understands everything, even two and three part instructions, so I pressume he will start chatting away soon!

Simone, cute pic of yoghurt!

Yoza, so sorry to hear about your dad! HUGS!!

Julz, enjoy the whiskey tasting tonight!

I like this cold weather - coz its snuggle time and 'you know what else' in bed time!!!!!

Yoza my thougths are with you and your family. I hope your father gets the medical treatment he so badly needs.xxx

We don't get report cards. I view our daycare as a big well run home with basic routine, but the kids play and do the odd activity. Obvioulsy the older kids (age 2-3) do a few more activities, but Dylan can go ask for water anytime or if he needs a second nap they allow it. They say he is doing fine.

Vix i also wish i had a report card...lol. Would be a nice keepsake. But the SAHK(ids) get individual attention at home...the kids here are so diverse, but all doing so well...so i dont think out stay at home kids are at a disadvantage.

As Ally says...I tell Addy everyday what colour top or skirt I am putting on. Randomly I ask her what colour her top or Gerard's top is. She only knows 3 colours...black, yellow and white (sometimes). But i will say...your top is pink. The duck is yellow. Now that they know all the objects...i add the colour of the object. Ooh look...a black doggie!! I stay away from brown though, cause too close to black and may confuse her. Oh wait she knows purple as well.

Repetition is key...and i count any and everything! balls, eggs, animals, etc. So we are teaching them alot, whether we know it or not.

Lisha so supper is sorted! You have gotten the hang of this cooking thing now hey??? You go girl!
