re siba's eye, she might be telling the truth...zian once bumped his head against the wall while in his cot. he was half asleep & trying to get up & fell forward straight into the wall next to his cot & had a huge "egg" on his head...lol

Just scanned through all the posts. So busy! Luckily the cake is decorated and ready, the curries are cooking. Just to decorate and make the Naan and rice. But the rice is in the microwave so no fuss!

Vix i have no perception of quantities. I brought a 1.5L stuffed with food to work yesterday for a colleague and I...i thought it may not be enough??? We both ended up having a HUGE portion and there was still left! So i need to work on it because we waste too much. Okay our wastage at least goes to Cynthia...either she gives it to poor people around her or takes it home. The old bread she gives to the kids standing at the robots, etc. In that case i dont mind...but we do throw alot away that cannot be consumed either...and its sinful actually!

Lisha she could very well have been cold and the wind was very noisy...so she may have been scared.

I told gerard last night...it was so cold...we could have been in bed...ooh la la...watching series/soccer...doing as we please...but no...madam is asleep in our room so we freeze in lounge. So i think he now gets the picture and wants to get Addy a toddler bed, make a nice room for her and move her out. Its time.

Aw Yoza...so cute gushing about your kids! I agree...one does not wanna make a big fuss about small injuries...it seldom happens but once in a while Addy would have a blue mark on head and Cynthia knows nothing about it. Its not serious, but then i am like...how did she get a blue mark, probably cried and you know nothing? Just be honest... Shame maybe they are scared to lose their jobs. Like i said...small once in a blue moon incident...if something serious..then definately investigate.

Yoza- I hope Siba's eye heals quickly, put some arnica cream on the skin, it should take out the bruising faster. They do get bumps and scratches from time to time but I think the annoying thing is you would like the truth about how it happened. Babies don't really whack their eyes on a wall when asleep.

Julz- it must be hectic in CT at the moment. Luckily I live out on the east of Jozi, actually outside jozi really so I am not near any stadiums. I do unfortunately live 20min from the airport but I've just organised my shopping around the WC so I don't get stuck in traffic. I don't think our roads would be so bad if SANRAL hadn't left them in such a horrendus condition. A lot of our on ramps to the highways are now basically stop junctions because they are complete blind entrances and that is all around the airport. Heaven help the self drive tourists on our roads, jo'burgers aren't the most curtious of drivers I have to say!

Urg, it looks like it's getting colder outrside. At 9 I checked the outside temp and it was a measly 4 degrees, I can't see us getting to the predicted 8 today. I'm sure it's colder in the cape though!

o yes, lisha, re nokia & web....super fast!!!
me & dh have nokia's now & it's worlds apart from other phones when it comes to internet.
especially the E series....wish I rather went for one

zian's raport was very cute & good...my lil genious could do all the things he had to & even some things I never thought he could do...lol They are growing up so fast now!!!
