afu, had a nice weekend, we had TERRIBLE weather though so K had to stay indoors, plus we had NO electricity from just after 9 Saturday morning until 5 that evening! It was very frustrating, but at least we have a gas stove so i could still prepare us something for lunch etc. The IL's bought K this cute swing for outside but shame he hasnt had a change to play on it yet, hopefully when we get home this afternoon he will be able to. Otherwise not much news to report on,hope you ladies have a great day.

Spoke to my cousin, HR person at coke, and she said really it should be fine and they can't revoke offer. Going to meet hr tomorrow and sign contact:) can't wait!!!!!!!!!

Mandy I never quite feel at ease:( I think in a way getting to 12w or 13w provides (to me) a false sense of security . I know I must not be so pessimistic...I even asked sonographer about ladies who discover no heartbeat at downs scan when they come there. Talk about gloom and doom hey?

I'm 13w Today and still getting sick everyday! Today (touch wood) I've been okay.

had a nice saturday but i always get so depressed on sundays after we get back from house hunting, we are so dissapointed what you get for DOUBLE the cost of our house! just really sad! Lets hope we find a gem at some point but its not looking too possible at present!

im rather excited to be getting to the 12 week mark tomorow for my pregnancy! sho, didnt like the stress of wandering whether I would make it! I think at 8 weeks I spoke to someone who was soooo heartsore as she had lost 2 pregnancies before 12 weeks and didnt understand why and it made me nervous! but looks like i have been blessed to be 3 months preggie!!

Cameron is still on the meds, night 4 tonight, what bliss to have a sleeping child again, but lets hope it has settled his routine back once we stop the meds!! PLS LORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its been a while! I dont know if I am going to be able to reply to everybody.....havent even been able to read my email updates...been a CRAZY week!

Thanks for all the congrats! I wanted to resign today, but dont feel right doing it until I speak to HR at new job on Monday. Also a friend of mine said to me to ask if the salary is negotiable as I did think basic would be a bit more. He earns a crap load of money and works for a great company....and the point he made is valid...nothing ventured nothing gained. But I feel so 'unworthy' due to pregnancy....so not sure I'm brave enough to ask. We'll see on Monday! (yoza HR lady on leave so can only accept offer and confess on Monday)

Lwasi I had to laugh re: Amu and plane and toilet! In the mall is the worst in the beginning....u just take them and they wanna go again 2 minutes later! I think that's why Addy can hold for so long cause i just used to ignore her...lol. Bad mommy!

Vix so glad C is doing well after the op!!! Strong little munchkin! How were you during the procedure....being at home?

Ladies I worked like a dog this week. I am so exhausted...and my brain is so tired. I work til late...then wake up at 4am thinking thinking thinking!!! And I am not eating at all during the day...then puking up supper...lost about 2kgs this week alone. So really looking forward to Monday, resigning and then looking after myself and my bean a bit more.

Like a lunatic I cried all the way home yesterday. This deadline was crazy...my staff was useless! I did basically 70% of the work in this week PLUS review their work PLUS clear their queries! I was so annoyed! So I had one deadline at 1pm today and the director has just not replied to my emails or gotten back to me re: anything! I had to call cancel and ask them to give me until Monday! My other deadline is the 29th so I couriered file to Ct so she can review and send me queries today so staff can work over the weekend. NOTHING! NO RESPONSE! Can you ladies see why I want to resign TODAY???

Anyways...leaving now! Will pop in later...I know I have forgotten a few responses.

Christi its a difficult one. You are further than I am...and once they offer you job, they cannot revoke offer...so there may be some resentment. I'm counting on the fact that I'm still 'early-ish'....but that being said I had interview this coming Tuesday and was not going to say...truth is they do discriminate:(

Vix, glad C is doing so great after the op! I’ve been thinking about the kiddy grow, but it will never work for us, Iris doesn’t wanna be covered up at all, she only sleeps in a track pant and long sleeve Tshirt otherwise she kicks off the covers. We force her to wear her slippers before she goes to bed, otherwise she would’ve walked around barefoot all evening.

Ok, I’ve got some exciting news myself! Going for an interview for a half day position on Monday
I'm struggling with whether to tell them about the pregnancy or not. Thus far everyone I've told have had the "OK, well come back to you" attitude. So I'm thinking about just keeping quiet and if they do offer me the job, then only informing them. Hopefully I can negotiate on shortened ML, since its only half day, or I can offer to do some work from home...
Any thoughts from you ladies?

AFM: Amo is great doing potty training at school so every 5 seconds he wants to go, yho its so tiring I remembered Simone when she said its better to travel with Amo untrained than have to go up and down the aile in the plane, I see what u meant now Simone

As u know ladies he just moved to daycare and his principal tells me that at school he doesnt talk but he's the naughtiest, now whats weird is that at home he resites things he does at school but when they ask him at school he doesnt talk, now with the potty training its a problem cos he never indicates whether he wants to wee wee or poo

I know the problem is language cos at school its Eng and at home its Sotho, but when I ask him: what is your name he responds correclty, so I dont know whether thats a problem or not but will observe him

well other than that we are fine....

Simone sorry mab u asked me about my appointment with the HR director, well it never went well I had to ask for the intervention of a Deputy Director General then it was resolved a 1 paragraphed commitment was then written... ya beraucracy (sp) so now am confirmed about going to DC yr end
