Oct/Nov 2008 mommies!

well the wheels have fallen off at our house.. Cameron started waking about 10 days ago between 4 and 5am and it is just getting rediculous. Most days its now 04h00 or 04h15 and he does not want to sleep no matter what! I am beyond exausted and not sure what to try next.

To rule some stuff out, I have bought deworming tabs for all of us, and bought magnesium ( he wouldnt take the floradix but the pharamict gave me a strawberry effervessent..

Then I have booked an appointment with Anne Richardson for some advice..but my appoint is the 18th JULYYYYYYYY!!!!!

My instinct is that he is feeling NEEDY.. he doesnt want to sleep during the week ends coz he NEEDs me.. its got to be very overwhelming.. when we get home, he wants me to stop getting his supper ready and he wants me to lie down on the couch so he can lie on top of me.. and he rushes on arrival home to clutch his teddy all of a sudden and wants to take it in the car these days - to which i say no.. he will go and put it on his bed as I tell him teddy is tired...

Hey, I know sleep training, and we have done it all, or thats how i feel.. we have tried walking him back, lying with him, talking to him, telling him to look for the sun, play on his own, shouting at him, screaming at him, talking sternly, hugging and loving ways, and he just wants to be with me in my room, and if i even let him come into my bed, i say you can stay here if you sleep and he will not sleep, half an hour later or trying to help him get comfortable and asking to sleep nicely, we send him back to his room.. SCREAMING TEARS and yelling MOMMMY MOMMMY MOMMMY MMMMMMOOOOOOMMMMMM...

can it really be the new kids pending arrival and him sensing that i am busy busy with my head in the house selling and telling him he is my big boy and there is another baby coming and that he mustnt hurt the baby in my tummy?????????????

I am miserably tired and maybe thats why this feels never ending and a bit hopeless.. luckily my hubby has seen how hard i am trying and how cameron is fighting everything and i do feel supported, but just dont know what to do...

ONE MORE ATTEMPT - is to try to keep him up late tonight to see if he sleeps later... hold thumbs

So the bosses have decided to close the office at 2pm today as the roads are really bad at the moment, they have closed so many of them! And have opened certain flood gates etc, really scary. I dont know what i am going to do with K this weekend? His going to be so irratated being inside all the time.

Nicole I also buy from that charity...I buy from all of them every year...and I battle pay it and wonder why do I let this happen every year??? I bought stuff for abandoned animals, muscular dystrophy and the deaf and blind.

The planner with pens for 2010 was R99...the price has moer than doubled which I was quite shocked about! But supporting them again this year.

Addison is quite easy about being told whose birthday it is and singing for them, etc. When she sees a candle immediately she asks: Whose birthday is it? Your birthday mummy?

I got these meds at chemist called oscillococcinum

apparently it stops virus for infection (so no antibiotics) dont know if it works but i can tell u we have had coughs and snotnoses now over 3 weeks and yet nothing developed further (i give coryx and rinex etc too but not one full blown cold this winter for any of use yet (touch wood)

its these capsules with little sugar pebbles in u give kids half dose once a week in flu season (adults take one) or if already sick u take 3 dosis every 6 hrs

quite expensive R73 for 6 full dosis so for the 2 of mine its 6 wks worth but who knows if this has worked but i reckon worth the try as it cant hurt?

mandy and simone - remember preggy hormonses HECTIC so everything will be amplified irritations now and never fear if lo's get beter of u as its only the I that matter till 3 then they can start to see past self so whatever do or dont do remeber those babies in belly play big role to actions

lea is now 4 apparently with partying with xen - did 2 cupcakes and sang to both and on sunday having dual party as lea dont get concept of his b-day yet LOL

Addison LOVES her 'Tiger box oats' (as she calls it). Last night I made creamy chicken and mushroom sauce and we had that over steamed potatoes with tabasco sauce...DIVINE! Addison ate it and said: oh mummy I love it! (minus tabasco sauce)

They are so cute with how dramatic they are!

It's nice and quiet at work today and I'm so tired because Cole was up all night coughing and Nicky and I slept in shifts. Will phone daycare later to find out how he is doing and then maybe take him back to the dr because he has had this cough for quite a while now.
