and for me, we are battling with Cam, he is quite a misery at the mo, trying so hard to PUSH his independance.. so when in public he is often pushing the boundary and shouting at me - which I dont accept, and then holwing when is he disciplined and he is set off by ANYTHING, do you want a biscuit, I will ask, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MOOMMMMMMMMMMMMYY, so I say, dont talk to mom like that, if you shout again, we will go home, and then he falllssss on the floor crying like the world has come to an end.. anyhoo - not really asking for advice, just telling you my news, he is still loving and all that, he is just being a royal pain and we are trying every trick in the book!! We cant let his behavior go, as its quite unacceptable! Even though we are trying to only insist on important stuff, there is a lot of stuff he is being totally inapproriate for, Yesterday he bit a 6 yr old and tried to bite me and his dad, kicked us both and hit us both.. he also says no to every meal, so we take it away immediately and put it in the fridge to avoid confrontation and calm things down and then wait for him to ask for it, and then he has to get it out of the fridge himself .. all i can say is, this too will pass.....

Okay so now I have to commit to a date to let him sleepover - I will commit to a date a little bit later on - hehe

Simone - hehe on the slippers. Evertime W does not get anyting right he says oh sh&t. Do not know where he gets this from, but they pick it up so fast.
Sorry that the MS is so bad, I speak to the big white telephone atleast once or twice a week still, so I hope I get over that soon. Doubt I will, I had MS with W until the day he was born.

Nicole, hope DH travels safely, my DH has to go to East London tomorrow, flying, but has to be out the house by 4 o'clock tomorrow morning.

Julz - Shame man I really hope you start to feel better soon, you're having a bit of a rough time of it at the moment! Hope you shake all the nasty bugs attacking you soonest. And I hope Dylan gives you a break as well, love the pic on FB of his books but I know how that feels to clean up cos they just don't understand (at least Oliver doesn't) how to pack things orderly!!

Ankia - I agree with the other girls, a sleepover would be a sensible idea and Simone's right, usually once we're out of sight they're quite happy

Zee - hope Ziani feels better soon, sounds like she's also having a bit of a rough time with the sickness at the mo.

Nelria - LMAO at Xen coming from Lea's tummy, these kids have such fantastic imaginations!

We had a good weekend, I barely seem to find 5 minutes for myself these days, work is busy and home is busier lol.

Oliver really startles me sometimes, I feel awful for him that his speech is so far behind but he really is quite a clever little boy (at least I think so anyway lol). I bought him a puzzle game, its called 'What's Missing?' and there are a 21 pairs where there's a picture with something missing and then a piece that joins up that matches, for eg there's a picture of a boy standing in the rain and the puzzle that matches the picture is of course an umbrella, then a picture of a man cutting a piece of wood but the saw is missing and the other piece is a saw, a lady standing by an ironing board but the iron is missing so the matching piece is an iron. I wasn't sure if it was going to be too complex for him to understand so I sat down and went through it with him, laying out 5 pairs so 10 pieces) at a time and asking him what's missing from each picture. We went through it once with him guessing and now he can do the whole lot without assistance!! I can literally lay out all 42 pieces on the floor and he picks each one and then picks the missing piece that goes with it. I think his memory/logic or whatever skilss are needed for this puzzle must be pretty good

Nina is doing well, her bum rash is finally clearing, I was starting to think I might have to tak her to the doc but it looks like its clearing so FX. She's rolling both ways now and sitting quite nicely, can't believe she's nearly 6 months old!

Anyways, have to get back to work, been soooo busy this morning. Hello to everyone I've missed, just don't have the time today, sorry!!!

Julz sorry to hear that you and D are so sick, it is very difficult and exhausting looking after a sick child when you feel as bad. Hope you guys recover soon. xxx

afu, all is well, had a quiet weekend, had some family visit us yesterday but thats about it. Saturday K refused to have a nap again so he was real miserable at about 17:00, at 18:15 i showerd him etc, and the second he lay his head on the pillow he was fast alseep.

Dh left at 05:00 this morning to travel to Humansdorp to meet with the client, he his driving back this afternoon, it really stresses me out when he travels quite a long distance in one day. Before K was born we always use to do these travels together (when we were working for same company) but once K was born i couldnt do them anymore, and i must admit i really do miss them.

Ankia I agree....sleepover probably your best bet. My Sil recently left her 2yr old with her mom for 2 nights, first time ever away from then as she and hubby went away, but she didnt so much as ask for her mom. When we are out of sight and they are having a good time, they really couldnt be bothered...okay when they see us after the seperation its a different story! No idea about the 6am thing though...cant your sister drop him at your parent's place then? Or your parents come over and be there when he wakes up or even sleep there for that night?

Ladies I think Addison dropped her FIRST F-BOMB this morning! I was still half asleep and I hear her saying to G: This fluckin slippers!

So he says: Addison what did you say now? And she repeats: I say this fluckin slippers!

Okay I am not sure I heard right so about 10min later I ask her: Baby what did you say about your slippers...and again very matter of factly...I say this fluckin slippers!

Okay guys I know its not funny but she looks like a cherub in the morning...so sweet and yet apparently really pi$$ed off at her slippers! G says her toe got stuck so she couldnt get her foot in and that is why she said it. Okay he wasnt very impressed cause honestly she could only pick it up from me

But man I still had a good laugh. My mom was saying it seems she takes in certain words and waits for a moment where she thinks it fits. She was telling my mom that something was very 'important' the other day. So ya...those fluckin slippers!

Thank Julz, he has visited my sister and she has looked after him for about 3 - 4 hours at a time, so I think the next step is maybe a sleepover - How will I get this over my heart, this is very difficult for me, so yes I will have to do it soon, I wish I can take him with me to the hospital, but that is not going to work - hehe
