Oct/Nov 2008 mommies!

Good Morning

Well I can say that I am in the honeymoon phase of being pregnant.
I feel great, I am not so tired anymore, I still drink my nausea tablets everyday, will just keep them drinking them for another week or so.
W went to school with undies today, will phone later and see how it went. He is so good at home, but up until today he was still send to school with pull ups, they are so damn expensive between R3 - R5, denpends on the make.
The preggie hormones are not great, and DH is getting the worst of it. Luckily we are talking again after a few days of silent treatment.

Ally, it sounds like you are super busy, it is so great that you are doing so well.

Vix, whoohoo, I am so happy that you sold the old Kitchen so fast.

Nicole, yikes! That sounds hectic re mozzie bites! Aidan's also develops sores but luckily no infection yet. C was so good with the twins, he's better than me at handling them so he was just fine!

afm, well i have been off the past two day, K developed a bacteria infection from Mozzie bites, so from having three mozzie bites on his one leg it spread into sores and he had 6 sores on the one leg and 4 on the other so i have to give him antibiotics for 5 days, and had to rub bactropan every 2 hours on Tues and Wed, also had to cut his nails very short and scrum them everytime he touch his sores etc, so quite hectic, the sores look alot better and now that his on antibiotics they wont spread anymore. Shame I felt so sorry for him.

Our electrical fencing is up YAY, but they totally destroyed our garden whilst they were digging these trenches, so we complained as it looked terrible.

I was also following all the eartquake and tsunami stories last week but it just got too morbid to see more pics and now all the nuclear power / radiation effects is so scary.

Ara thanks...luckily this morning mucous was clear again...I think that means not to stress at this point. No fever, no sneezing, coughing or chestiness...so will just wait it out a day or 2:-)

LMAO Vix...so you're calling me out? Dont forget G splurged on a R750 bag for me in December and lots of other goodies in CT...so the least I could do was 'pay it forward' to Addison...lol. And it was a luxury item...you are buying meds and necessities.

Simone forgot to answer you about the cold. All though Ethan gets sick very quickly I'm such a paranoid mother I take him to the doc almost the second day that he don't look good. She knows about me by now and I've told her that she just must not give him anything if he will be ok with just panado to keep the fever down. (Hope I make sense) Currently I'm using Demazin - blue fluid - to dry his nose because his nose starting running again this weekend. Sorry girl I don't really have advise.
