Simone- Hi Addison is VERY clever knowing the whole alphabet already. C just knows which buttons on his leaptop make which noise so it's not that he knows Cat begins with C or where C fits into the alphabet but he knows the 3rd button in goes 'meow' LOL

I advertised the kitchen on Gumtree on monday morning, that night i had a lady email me and the next day (yesterday) she came to look at it. The moment she walked in she said definitely because it's still in good condition all the doors are perfect they just maybe need a good clean up. You know when you just feel someone is genuine? She even transferred the full amount last night and the kitchen is only coming out tomorrow! so very pleased about that. we put it up for R5000 and it's a large fully working kitchen with stove, hob double sink, it's just not modern but she only wants it for the cottage they're building on.

And on Monday i also put up all those wedding dresses (8 + 2 flower girl dresses) for R2000 just to get rid of the bloody things and i had a woman come Tuesday morning and take them for cash so i have a little bit of spending money again yay. o.k i spent R500 yesterday just on meds for us all but the rest I'm saving til mum is down and I can go clothes shopping for myself. I haven't had new clothes since before i fell 0pregnant with C. I didn't even get maternity clothes so now all my old stuff is so stretched from pregnancy i am throwing it all out.

Helen- it can't do any harm to take Oliver to a speech therapist well besides to your ever deepening pockets

Christi- OMG if you had to be pregnant with twins you'll topple over with that tiny body of yours LOL

Nelria- i hope you get the old laptop back soon, it's been ages!

Mandy- I'm pleased Cam's nose is dry and the biting is stopping.

hmmm, does sound like Oliver is battling.. When we went to a baby talk about a year ago, there was a speech therapist lady who said sometimes there are brain connections that arent made naturally and a speech therapist knows what to do to "catch up" those connections. She aslo said that Paeds and GP's rarely diagnose a problem early enough, and so Moms should trust their instincts and just get an appointment with one for an assessment. I will try to find out the lady that spoke to us through the friend i went to the talk with, as she was really approachable and great with kids and she made us understand so quickly how speech problems can become social issues the longer you leave them. The thing with Oliver is that luckily he makes it so clear to me that he is actually highly intelligent so at least you dont have to worry that his intelligence is laging.. as you say, its more like the connection between his thoughts and his lips arent connecting somehow! Another way to get a good speech therapist is to get your paed to refer you to a recommended one.. then at least it can be done in conjuction with your paed. As usual though, your instinct is what counts here, and not what your doc says! The therapist said they literally do tongue and cheek expercises and show the child where to put the tongue and practice practice practice so that you encourage the connection needed.. so hopefully that will sort Oliver out GOOD LUCK!

Cameron is doing so well, he has a dry nose which i didnt know was possible coz its been so long! and is LOVING school and he is mostly fitting into a good routine and handling life well. The biting seems to have stopped with other kids, but he still has a tendency to bite try to bite us when he is really excited or really frustrated, so I am watching him. He is actually coming home from school the last 3 weeks with a bite a week on his body! but its all normal behavior and well, i think he showed the kids how to bite, so he is bound to get some of his own medicine back.

We are still researching selling , building or renting, and it looks like hubby wants to keep our home until we have paid off a chunk of the bond ( we only have R80 000) in our access bond now) and then rent a 3 bed place wiht a garden if we have baby no 2 on the way. So all in good time

I'm still in pj's. Have to go and buy flowers for colleague as she's returning to work today after her brother was killed. I'm told that in their culture flowers aren't liked after the funeral...so I said we'd make them 'welcome back to work' flowers. Hopefully she'll like them.

Okay i put a show on for Addy and they were singing the alphabet song...Addison knew from a all the way to z! She must've been learning it or hearing it...I had no idea. I thought it was so cute!

Nel- I've been using some of the baby grows, but a lot of the T-shirts and pants/shorts in the last batch of clothes actually don't fit yet believe it or not. The boys are nice lengths but they're skinny so if I put a T-shirt on it looks like a sac and a shoulder quite often makes an apperance through the neckline and pants, well these boys have no bums so no pants stay on these boys, as soon as they wriggle a little the pants are falling off. And I must admit, while they're still small I don't like to have their tummies exposed so I like to use baby grows. But they'll get there and soon those clothes will fit.

Christi- I remembered you talking about last year but you were a bit of a 'silent' participant. Good for you and your super fertile body. Aren't you worried Iris will stay on the breast till baba comes and then maybe get jealous? Just a question

I'll try and get a quick reply in before the day really gets going. Oliver is feeling better although took a long time to settle last night and then he decided he was ready for the day at 4.30am this morning!!! Not sure if it was the bullfrog that was making a racket outside the window that woke him up or if he got cold, either its annoying! (I did try to get him back to sleep but sadly he wasn't having any of it). I swear these two children of mine are in cahoots; Nina slept until 5.45am so I would've had a decent nights sleep if Oliver hasdn't decided it was his turn to be up early. Usually its Nina waking around 4am for a feed...anyways, I suppose that's what I ordered having another one hey lol!

Christi - A massive congratulations, keeping FX the MS bypasses you this time round! Hope Iris gets better soon.

Julz - Glad you made it back, hope you're going to spend some time resting now

Vix - I just realised what a dumb idea it was to suggest meeting whilst all your kitchen stuff is being done doh, sorry! How's Jono doing now?

Nelria - Thanks for the tip re paed, for the time being I'm happy with mine, he's pretty thorough and to be honest I can't be bothered to drive all that way for a doc appointment! Hopefully we won't be needing any more visits for a while...maybe 3 months is a bad time for the LOs...

Yoza - So glad the therapoy is starting to work with Siba, what kind of exercises do you have to do with him?

I'm starting to think we need to take Oliver for speech therapy, I'm pretty sure he has some sort of problem as he really struggles to make the right sounds in his mouth. For example, when he needs to wee he comes running saying something that sounds like looloolooloo, so I'll repeat to him that he needs to weeweewee and he'll respond with loolooloo, its almost like his brain doesn't process the sounds properly so he hears weeweewee as loolooloo? 'Thank you' comes out as Raaaa reeee, instead of saying the words, cat, dog, lion, duck he'll make the sounds they make; eow for cat, ruffruff for dog, roar for lion and someting that sounds like kakakak for quack (duck), its all a bit strange really. We had his hearing tested so it definitely isn't that, I think its more like something in his brain not functioning as it should. He's getting really frustrated (as are we!) because its really holding him back, he relies heavily on sign language to explain things and luckily I understand most of it but its still a guessing game at times and strangers have no idea what's going on lol. It must be really difficult for him not to be able to communicate properly

Nicole - Hope your fence got put up and that you can rest easier?

Simone - Can't give you much advice re Addy's cold, never used those meds before. I've always used Illiadin at night time and before naps just let the nose run during the day, only if the mucus is green do I think about going to the doc. All the time she seems happy I wouldn't worry too much, they're at an age now where they're able to tell us if something is hurting them. If you are worried it certainly wouldn't do her any harm to have a check up with the doc.

Simone don't feel bad, I've always had very regular cycles and most of the women in our family seem to fall pregnant easily. And remember I don't have thyroid / diabetes or any of those problems... My gran (dad's side) had 11 babies and her one daughter had 10 With Iris I fell pregnant in the 2nd month of trying.

Luckily her eyes seem fine DH forgot to ask the doc to have a look at them when they were there for more meds this afternoon...

OK, I'm also going to bed now, night ladies.

Mandy the morning meds after after 1 nutrific and milk. Perhaps I should rather have it after lunch and supper...maybe breakfast is not substantial enough. U just reminded me now to take my meds as I abandoned them today! Will be good...promise:-)

Christi...wow...1 cycle? I can't believe I'm on my 6th cycle already! Well 6th since I started keeping track of my cycle!

Mandy the basic charting is fun...this is the first time I've actually counted how many days my cycle is...first time round was the old fashioned 'have-sex-and-u-get-a-baby' way:-)
