Hello ladies, yes I am still alive

!
Thanks for all the birthday messages for my little man

As some of you saw on FB he didn't have such a great day in the end poor little mite. He's been listless and not himself all week but there didn't seem to be anything wrong that I could put my finger on except a slight cough but it didn't seem to be bothering him. Then yesterday I took him to playgroup and he was fine when I left him but he said to me "no Dawn pick up, mummy pick up" meaning Theo's aunt mustn't fetch him, I must come and get him. I didn't think too much of it because sometimes he plays around like that but apparently he wasn't in the mood for much at playgroup and then when Dawn came to fetch him he cried his eyes out asking for me, my poor baby NEVER cries for me except when he's sick and I feel awful I didn't go and pick him up because I knew he wasn't right I just didn't know what was wrong. Anyway, by lunchtime he was absolutely full of cold, he's obviously been fighting it off all week and it just came out yesterday, his eyes were all puffy, his nose was running and he was a mess poor thing. He's looking much better today and is actually interested in all his new toys today (yesterday he just wanted to sit and watch TV!) so hopefully the worst is over. We had been planning to take him to the zoo on Saturday but I think we're just going to have a queit day at home instead.
He got some lovely toys, his favourite by far is the Leapfrog laptop, think I might have a future nerd on my hands lol. He also got a really nice doctors set - someone bought him that set from Toys R us that costs R100, I'd been a bit nervous of them myself because I thought the quality might be a bit rubbish but I can definitely recommend it, think I might go and get the kitchen set they have for him for Christmas
Nina is well, full of mischief and she's a feisty little madam, I'm dreading the day she realises she can klap Oliver, shoo its not going to be pretty lol

The cat's biscuits are her favourite thing to aim for when she thinks I'm not looking lol. And then when I bust her she's got the whole crying/looking sad thing down to a t - chin on chest looking up at me through her eyel;ashes lol, she's going to know how to work people as she gets older haha!! She's occassionally pulling herself up to a stand but I think the walking is still quite a way off yet, I also think she might be one of those babies that just all of a sudden gets up and goes
Ok, now to try and reply to everyone, I know I'm going to miss some people so please bear with me
Julz - Wow those night terrors don't sound cool at all! I hope you get them under control, it must be pretty scary for both you and Neil, gives me shivers just thinking about it so I can't even imagine who you must be feeling! I'm so glad Dylan is sleeping better
Ally - Yay on finding a school for the kids, I think its great when the kids run off without a look back, it shows they're ready for the stimulation and that they're confident/independent/emotionally mature enough to handle it all and it means you and C have done a great job
Lisha - I must've missed the post, are you looking to sell your house? And move? Hope the abcess on your leg gets sorted, sounds pretty painful!
Nicole - Hope the work calms down a bit! We get super busy this time of year right up until we close and it can be pretty stressful, thank goodness we get a long December holiday!
Yoza - Hope the kiddies are feeling a bit better. Nina's tummy also reacts to antibiotics, I found the Creche Guard probiotic spray really helped, its expensive but it suited her loads better than all the others and it prevented thrush as well.
PFairy - I'm so happy you're settling in, Perth sounds amazing. It must be pretty daunting at times but I'm sure it will all be worth it. XxX
Zee - I'm sorry you're having troubles with Zander and the dreaded constipation. I found with Nina I had to go though a whole load of things until I found something that worked and for her it was boiling prunes then using the water to make up her bottles, the OTC didn't seem to help much. And as for the exhaustion, it will get better I promise!! I have to say having two to worry about takes you to a whole new level of exhaustion (I sleep like the dead now and literally only wake up if one of the kids calls/cries lol) but you will get through it and it is sooo worth it.
Ok I'm afraid that's all I've got time for, we've been without a washing machine for half the week as it was leaking so my super handyman husband had to fix it and it took a few days so I have a ton of washing to catch up on today!
Have a good day ladies and a great weekend. XxX
