lea is in princess phase too since summer so I for one estatic i dont buy clothes (donated) so her whole wardrobe set me back R300 this summer as she only wears pink dresses with pink long tights and i bought 5 sets - she lives in crown and ballet tutu

xen is good he blew his own nose today to both me and bretts amazment actuallly blew at 16mnths WOW

afm - dec birthdays IT SUCKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!! I am christmas baby - havent had a party since highschool even then did it on last day of school which sucked - also only get one present and celebrate looing on the whole worl opening presents blah blah blah

as for school debate - was 5 going on six coped fine but then again academics wasnt high on my or parents lists so didnt know differance - as for emotionally never knew differance - it sucked though being 17 in matric - no license, no clubs etc

vix - if u reading (will fb too) but can bring outfit to party as we will only tackle the whole thing sunday the 13th

as for party its sat surprise surprise princess theme LOL - lea is getting a cake like simone's only 5l ice-cream at the bargain price of R245 whoooooohooooooo - then doing it at my house with a swimming pool, the jungle gym, trampoline and ball pond - as for decor balloons basiclly

Nicole enjoy your date night and your springcleaning. I'm tackling a bit of springcleaning at a time as well. Did Shrey's cupboard last week, took out stuff to give away and just put stuff into vac bags that's either for close family kids or keepsakes. DH's cupboard I did a couple months ago. Just mine to do now ... the biggest mission lol.

AFM not much planned for the weekend. Have 2 cyst type things on my leg so want to have that checked out.
My sister and family from Jozi coming down for the weekend so looking forward to some time with them. Still haven't decided what we're cooking yet but hopefully something yummy.
Otherwise hopefully I'll get some time to sort more cupboards out and just keep moving on the cleaning up ... we seriously need to give stuff away before we move because I really don't want to carry that clutter around.

Goodness my child has been in princess phase for months. She refuses to wear jeans/tights/pants.....wasted so much money on tights and top sets. Some days she is not too resistant....blue moon days...!!! She immediately starts spinning in dress to see if it meets her level of princess.lol.

Pregnancy...well all of a sudden I look like huge beach ball!! no idea how this happened in 2 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My stomach is HUGE!!

Hubby booked morning at the spa for me tomorrow and the hair salon. Then its my baby shower...quite excited. Just switched hair appointment to today as I figure it'd be hectic to go for breakfast, then hair, then 3hrs at spa, then baby shower... So finishing work at 12 today, meeting friend for lunch and then doing my hair. Cant wait cause this hair is in serious need of TLC!

Mandy I see your baby is also nice and big like mine:). THough the estimated final weight is 3.5 (38w) -3.8kgs (40w) which to me does not seem that big.

Battling with heartburn today and forgot gaviscon at home...darn it!

afm, glad its friday, once K went to bed last night, i worked til 22:30pm and the read some pages of a book, i could only fall asleep after 12pm though for some reason, just couldnt get my mind to rest and then K woke at 5 , he is waking up at this time everyday for the past two weeks, its flipping exhausting.

Not many weekend plans, Dh works tomorrow, so its just K and I, i want to sort through his clothes to see which shirts/shorts/shoes etc dont fit him anymore and give it to charity, also want to pick out toys he does not play with on a regular basis and give those away to. Sunday we will do a family outing together if the weather is nice. Its really crappy today, so hoping for a sun-filled weekend.

Tonight dh and I are going to have a date night @ home (lol), going to get some wine and snacks and just relax together as this week, he was getting home late from work, and then i would work when K went to bed. It will be like this until closing day on the 15th as i need to complete as much work as i can.

I have next week thursday off thought as its K concert and the principle needs help with transporting children, and there was no way i was going to let somebody else drive K around for the mid-day rehersal for the concert.

Simone, the party was gorgeous! Well done. Aidan & Abi also always call me a princess when they see our wedding pictures. All brides are princesses to them.

Julz, Simone, about the late year babies. I have been SUPER worried about this. My good friend is a Gr. RR teacher and she said there are some kids that are born in JAN that aren't emotionally ready, she said it depends on your child. She says it helps if your child can socialise with children a year or two older than them because they will learn very quickly how older children react to situations etc.

Julz, about the kids being spoilt so much at the end of the year. What C and I now do, because the twins get SO spoilt with their bdays and Christmas, I ask my dad to buy them a birthday gift and then put money into their savings acc for Xmas. Then half of the presents from their bday we put away for march/april when they are bored with the other toys. They never EVER play with ALL their gifts at the same time so this way there's something new and fresh and exciting half way to their birthdays.

I was always so happy that my birthday is in June. Perfect 6 months between Christmas and my bday.

Lisha, congrats with the house and good luck with it all. I'm so jealous. Can't wait for us to be able to buy a house.

Zee, OH NO! That would be the worst thing that could happen to me. That's why I love Facebook so you at least have a little of those memories. And I'm trying to now make an effort to print photo's every 2-3 months. I've joined Qphoto's loyalty club so you get lots of discount for printing etc.

AFU, the twins are doing well. They are going to Lynnwood Primary's Gr. RRR next year. My friend is a teacher there and my brother is most prob going to send his boy there also, so at least the cousins will be together. Also one of the nicest schools in our area so I'm happy with that. I'm reading to the twins in Afrikaans a lot now and my friend says I shouldn't worry about the afr/eng thing. She said they got a boy there in the 3rd trimester this year and he didn't understand a WORD of Afrikaans. Within 2 weeks he was already putting sentences together etc. So she says with the twins being exposed to afrikaans with me speaking to my siblings and dad and my uncle and aunt speaking to them in afrikaans, they will be fine.
Abi is so cute, her fav new word is 'lovely'. So she says "oh mamma, thank you for buying me such lovely books" (exactly those words....WHEN DID SHE GET SO BIG?!?) or "mamma, look how lovely the flowers are!" And Aidan is off his night time nappy. I forgot to buy two days ago so we just went without and he's doing so well. No accidents yet (touch wood). We take them both to pee at 22h00 and then C takes him again before he goes to bed at about 12. So now there really is no evidence that they were babies. Makes me sad but I'm also so excited about them getting bigger.

Afm and my book. Going well. I'm trying to get lots done each day. I want to spend the last week just editing and making sure everything is done to my liking etc. The book will be out in September! EEEEEEKKKKK!

Simone, I love the party decor and Addy looks so cute in her dresses. Ziani is also in her princess phase, she only wants to wear dresses. I'm so fed up since I bought her the coolest clothes by the start of summer and I have to threaten her to wear the capri's, etc. "Ek kan nie dans in 'n broek nie, Mamma!"

Ankia, the pics are sooooo lovely. You have a lovely family! I'm going to have a mini family shoot with Joli when baby is a few months old, probably early next year. Can't wait. Still need to share some pics that Tertia took of the two.

Shame, Christi, all these false alarms! Good luck with the last couple of weeks (or days!) My last pregnancy was also much harder thatn with Z and man, has my body taken a beating! I look horrible! Stretch marks every where, bulging fat ..I'm probably never going to see a bikini again.

Any hoo,I'm totally depressed. First of all, Zander is constipated, really hoped that I won't take this path with him - had enough issues with Ziani. So took him to the paed today (he is also 6 weeks on Saturday) and he prescribed Duphalac. I've given him two dosages already and nothing. I'm praying for a poo nappy! At this stage he is still getting breast and Nan1, I'm considering the Novalac now .. What do you guys think? I don't want to give him Duphalac everday.

And then due to a virus I've lost everything on my lap top including all the photo's of my life, Ziani's birth pics, all her baby pics, everything. I want to cry (again) when I think about it.

Nicole, K is going to be so happy with his prezzies.

Not much to report this side ... glad it's almost weekend. Have an appointment for facial and waxing this evening ... been ages since I've treated myself to the facial so hope I can just fall asleep during the treatment.
