AFM many things happening now on home front. We've finally signed with Remax last night to sell our house ... hope they find a buyer soon and without too many disturbances to our routine. Had to do so much of neatening up and stuff last night cos they are coming to take pics today and we'll have network listing house viewing next Thrusday.
Need to start scouting houses for us to buy as well. We've narrowed down to 2 areas and will look for complexes in these places.

First night of no diaper for Shrey and he did excellently. I had a restless sleep because I kept expecting him to wake up saying he wet himself lol. He only went to pee about 20 mins after waking up this morning Hope it continues to go this well, will have one pack of diapers to take back to shop and a whole lot to donate and just keep a few for travels etc.

And finally found a place for Shrey at a lovely pre-primary for next year. Going to submit forms and small admission fee tomorrow to secure that last spot left. We really liked the school, very humble principle and teachers and the kids looked really happy there. It's exactly what I pictured for Shrey at this young age. It goes up to Grade R but we'll reassess the situation in the future. He will only be in for normal hours being 8-12 and we'll use aftercare on casual basis if hubby and I can't make it to get him home early or if my mom is unavailable.

Morning ladies

I have spoken to teachers about the whole age and year debate and Mandy I am also worried about it. Fact is that our 6 year olds are going to start class with kids that are a year older than them and I worry more about the emotional factor. Not with girls but certainly with boys. My sister and I handled starting school really well at 6, but my brother was held back a year due to him not being school ready. I will cross the bridge when I get to it though.

Simone often the docs do long surgery days prior to christmas so no worry I am sure he will fit you in. My ENT operated from 7 to 7 that day of my surgery. They usually have days assigned for their surgeries so they can't always perform daytime surgeries on other days because the theatres are booked by other specialists so they then have to do after hour surgeries.

I just love the way the imagination flows now. Dylan has two imaginery babys, one bird and two dragons. Neil may not lie on them when we read a story to him each night.

Oh and I help Carmen's baby over the weekend and Dylan came up to me and said Mommy give the baby back to it's mommy. Jealous!!!

Addison looks at wedding pic now and says: oh mummy u were a princess.

So I ask where she is in the pic and she looks at it and says: I'm nowhere! I'm not in the picture. Take a picture of me and put it here (shows me empty space on pic).

Last night baby was hurting me so Addy starts rubbing my tummy and whispers: blover please don't hurt mummy! And then kissed it better:) tooo cute!

Mandy is Cam excited yet?

Mandy that principal is speaking crap I think. I know we've had this discussion here but as somebody born 23rd december...always youngest in class but always in top 3 of class...that is really nonsense about the catching up. I was 5 waiting to trun 6 while my apparently more intelligent peers were 7 already! So really depends on the child. I think Nelria is xmas baby and was in same boat.

Parties...simple...have them a week earlier? My mom used to have my party on lasy day of school so I could take goodies to school (not sure what happens nowadays). Parties at home...well family and until today my friends buy me 2 gifts:) so I have no qualms with being a late december baby and not worried too much about it.

Julz with my mom and sister around there's never a break from spoiling Addison.lol. I'm hoping baby no.2 will help us curb this bad behaviour!

I'm a bit concerned as gynae's receptionist was shocked he booked me for 20th cause seems his diary is packed that day!! So Mandy our kids may still be twins if I do it the 21st:)

G said to me earlier: okay so the 20th baby comes. At least then by new years maybe we can do something!

Huh????? The man is mad!!!

Oh Mandy now I feel bad. I didn't even think of these things when we were trying for Dylan. A single month wasted was not even a consideration. I was really annoyed to have to sit out the one month I had my gallbladder surgery so I know what you mean.

Things always work out the way they are meant to.

Tell me about it Julz - its the ONLY SUCKY part , a late december baby is going to be really hard for the kids!! but you cant mess with nature huh!! There just doesnt seem a way around it!!! GRRRR , believe me , we have had soooo many discussions about it, like the principal at cams school said I should try to wait til JAN as then i will give my child a 12month advantage!! she says its been shown that kids born late in the year only really CATCH UP by grade 4!!!! but only time will tell!! what will be will be..

MY ONLY POSITIVE about the timing is that my husband has 4 weeks paid leave from the 20th december and as a freelancer , we are so lucky that thats how its worked out..

Also it means that AT LEAST the family will all be together over the childs birthday as we do celebrate chistmas with my mom and dad and sister and family EVERY year...

but the poor kid will CONSTANTLY get one gift a year instead of 2 and not really be able to have a party on the birthday - it will be hard for them to understand at a young age, but its life, !!!!! shame, why didnt we think more at the time of conception!!! HOWEVER after all this, I still accept that its MEANT TO BE!!!
