Nicole wow you really spoilt K:) I'm sure he'll love his gifts! Addison got LOTS of clothes and bags and hair accessories and then about 4 Barbie dolls and some puzzles and books. She is doing dress changes the whole day.lol. She loves the clothes!

Hi Ladies,

Baby is doing fine. Doc says there is still ample amniotic fluid which is an indication that birth is still some time away. So, this LB might still go to his due date or beyond... He measured the heartbeat with one of those strap things around my tummy and says it looks absolutely fine & normal so no problems.

Mandy, I also like the name you've chosen, Jenna Biart sounds nice!

Hubby & I have been joking about our planning skills... His birthday is 29Oct, then LB EDD is 18Nov, then our anniversary is the 22nd and Iris' birthday is the 29th Nov... So we have 4 "occasions" within a month

Lisha, glad you are also having success with the potty training. I must say, it seems like we are also making progress with Iris, daytime seems fine and most mornings she wakes up with a dry nappy

Simone firstly the table etc looked absolutly stunning!! Well Done. Re: baby boy, wow what a fantastic weight!!!! Im glad everything is going so well. Exciting time just a month and a few weeks and the two babies will be born, and by the end of November Christi's baby too!! wow!!! looking forward to all the newborn pics. Simone so did Addy enjoy all the presents she received from you guys and family?

Julz enjoy your camping trip - sounds like such fun, ag man i love Dylans imagination!!! K sits on the edge of his bed and pretends to fish, acts like his reeling the fish in and everything lol, so cute, so i thought during our December holiday we would take him fishing.

Lisha wow what alot has happened on your side. Good luck with the selling of the house, i hope it will be a quick and smooth process. and YAY for Shrey who is doing so well with potty training!!!! Glad you were able to find him a school that met all your requirments.

Re: our kids born so late in the year, i think in the end it will all depend on the childs emotional maturity - not really the educational aspect of it. i am only worried about the emotional aspect at the moment, but seeing K mixed with a clas off kids that are 2 years older than him, he seems to be doing really well - both emotinally and keeping up with the educational side of it, maybe in hindsight it was a blessing that they combined the two age groups as this may prepare Keiran better for when he does go to Gr R (if im making any sense at all lol). According to his teacher he does mingle with the older kids, ecspecially when they are doing outside structured play. My birthday is the 12th of December and i did fine at school, my mom was concered about me, but i went through it fine, just crappy that everyone was the legal age of 18 in Matric and i wasnt yet (17, lol).

Julz it is difficult having the kids birthdays so close to Christmas, with K his birthday is exactly a month before Christmas - also hard on the finances lol.

Talking about birthdays, we went and bought K the rest of his gifts as so far we had only bought him the piano, so yesterday we bought him a Mr. Potato head, a Buzz watergun, a doctors set (with the trolley) as he loves pretending to be a doctor lol and then 2 rackets (similar to tennis rackets just not as heavy) with balls etc, as apparently at school he loves playing this game. So thats that for his birthday.

K is doing really well, everyday he sings "jingle bells", "we wish you a merry christmas" and "away in a manager", i love it. He is such a chatterbox and his imagination has really revolved. Love watching him play his games.

Simone & Mandy, WOW can't believe you guys have less than 2months left! Feels like there is ages left before our LB will arrive and in fact its only 16days to EDD

Had another "false" alarm Sunday night A whole lot of VERY regular contractions (2-3 mins apart) for more than 3 hours & this time they actually hurt, so I really thought it was the real deal, but alas in the end they went away
Wow, I really must say this pregnancy seems a lot harder than with Iris. I have a lot more pains & niggles & now already 2 false alarms before 38 weeks. I also seem tired a lot more and much more uncomfortable.

Well let me not moan in your ears... Seeing the doc again this afternoon, so will moan at him ... LOL

I caught Addison 'playing a game' with blover the other morning...I woke up and heard her say: okay now your turn blover. lol. They are quite special these kids.

A first time mommy friend of mine...she's still preggies, but she was saying it seems I dont bond with my son because all I talk about is Addison I felt kinda crappy at first...but then realised...Addison is here and I know her and see her and love her...its a different mind set thinking about a new child. Shame she didnt say it to hurt me...i think she just cant understand how I dont rave about my pregnancy all the time...unlike her being a first timer. So in future I wont say: I miss Addison! As its construed to mean I dont love my unborn child!

Got horrific heartburn today and an appetite that seems bottomless!!

Simone you are right that a december baby might not need catch up time as it does depend on the child but for those who it does affect , its a problem for many years... regardless of this, im having my baby on the 21st december if all goes well so lets hope I have a strong girl!!

re imagination, it is nice I am enjoying the pretend play.. everynight, cameron points to the ducks on the floor around the bed and he says teddy wants to swim with the ducks and then he throws teddy in and says ooooh teddy looks cold, lets pick him up, then i have to dangle him off the edge to pick up teddy
