HI ladies.
I've read all the posts but my brain has just gone blank.
I actually can't even remember what I was going to tell you about my weekend lol
We went for lunch and a movie yesterday. It was really lovely. And this morning I made C and the kids heart-shaped flapjacks with bananas, cream and syrup. They really loved it.
I have so much to do this weekend. I HAVE TO HAVE TO HAVE TO colour my hair and do something about these caterpillar's I call eyebrows. And then the girl that made my dress did a fab job except for the dress being skew. I think she worked the straps on skew so I need to take it back to her.
And I can finally tell you one of the very exciting things that will be happening soon. I have been approached my an American company who is starting an online magazine called Honest Cooking. They want me to be a weekly contributor and food writer for them. I'll be the only South African and it's going to be MASSIVE International exposure for me. I am so incredibly excited! They can't pay us just yet because they need to get the first few issues up and running before they can pull in sponsors but once they are making money, we'll be paid per article which could mean big bucks for me because it's all Dollars!! $$$$
The mag will be launching in March and I'll tell you when you can go have a look.
Nelria, I'm glad that Xen's bum is better. Nappy rash is HORRIBLE!!
Zee, sorry about the nausea! I remember all too well how debilitating it can be. I used to eat cream crackers before I got up and then lived off lemons, energade and bovril toast. Every now and then I could eat a tomato. No wonder I lost 12kgs in my first 3 months lol.
