hi everyone

well went for my check up today and according to doc's measurements Riley is around the 4.1kg mark (and that was the lowest weight he got and I know those machines aren't always 100%). He is advising that I strongly consider skipping the "wait to go natural" and rather do a c-sec on 1 March. I'm at a loss now? I told him that when I sneeze or cough I have to hold my stomach as it hurts - apparently that is pretty normal for previous c-sec scars.

At least now I understand the constant need to pee & the backache.

I'm seeing him again on Wednesday next week so I'll see what he says then.

nicole - teaching mmmmmmmmmmmmm at school i reckon they get enough teaching so i just blabber on in afr brett does same in english so lea picks up both languages - she also sings with lollos so know plenty of songs can count to 10 in both languages - as for colour everything is blou or rooi LOL

ang - have no idea re stuttering i reckon ride it out maby just repeat the word straight after he stutters and say can u say..... then go quicker and quicker making a game to see who can say it the quickest?

didnt fit nurse in today but x seemed fine alday so lets see what tonight brings grrrrrrrrrr

but alas i have a plan - getting lea a matrass for her small bed so she is moving in with me then x gets a room al to himself so the sleep trainig can begin - watch out boeta!!!!!!!

yoza - reckon u right re 2 lng's but also remember to just persevere they can master up to 12 languages before the age of 8 due to spongebrain - he might just file and speak them later but he knows the differance

Nicole: As for teaching I think im one lazy mummy I also point at things like yesterday he was playing with the tomato and potato and I was telling him what they are he seemed to get it. As for drawing I let him scribble in his book. Siba is left handed strange no one is at home both from my side hubby.

Agelique just did some reading for you and they say age 2-5 isnt' really a concern. It's when it continues for a long time or past age 5 that you should have it seen to. Measles can affect the ears so if his speech reduces you may want to chat to the doc.

I noticed it first just before the holidays but then it went away and now he is doing it again and it seems worse.

His daymom's grandchild, Kelsey (who Cole is very fond of) stutters and the two of them are always together. Could it be that he is picking it up from her..because he always spoke quite well so I don't understand why he is doing it now.

Julz wrt to teaching them things, I am like you...I rather show him things when we are out or at the mall or something. Cole also LOVES correcting us...Like when we were grocery shopping the other day, he asks "what's that mommy" and I was like "this is a tin of tuna"...he looks at me like I'm dumb and says "no, mommy..it's fish)...LOL, these kids can be really funny at times.
