Morning ladies

Lisha have a safe trip! And enjoy!!

Vix...Sounds like stella`s got her groove back! Well vix does...u know what I mean! Lol. Sounds like you`re in a good place with your family and that's fantastic! Re: C...well nobody likes being hit for no reason...so I think resentment is kinda warranted sometimes...I think maybe when they get out of this `terrible two`s` it`ll be better...in 2yrs you`ll be saying the twins are bashing u and C is your sweetest child! Lol.

What the heck were u doing up at 5:20am?? I'm realising now u woke me up missy! I got a moomie notification...so squinting my eyes (first had to unlock phone with password) so I could put it on silent. I checked the time it was like 5:19am or there about. Lol. Luckily I fell asleep again:-)

Addison is being so sweet this morning. `cooked` us breakfast and asked if I wanted eggs so I said yes. She turns and smiles...say pleeeeeeeese! Was so cute.

Last night she and G were dancing and playing air guitar..lol

She`s just in a very sweet cute mood. G gone to work:-( hopefully we`ll take her to a movie this afternoon.

So my husband has gotten onto the cuckoo train for vday again:-( he told me I'm not allowed into his bank account... Now that can only mean he`s bought something and I honestly wanted nothing this year...I told him its not our freakin anniversary! I was supposed to cook at home..now we`re going out for supper. Sorry I know it seems like a stupid post but previously I was a brat about vday...big flowers, big gifts...this is the first year I honestly think...wow I'm so blessed with my hubby...he treats me like a queen every day...I don't need 14th Feb!

Nelria- sorry about Xen's bug, gutted! Poor boy, hope he's better soon! Yay for night out without the kids.

My mum is FINALLY moving in the next 6w to a place just down the road so very very soon we will also have baby sitters! I can't wait!

Jessica- time is ticking hun, if you want to cook ready meals you best be hurrying along there..... I wanted to do that but kept puttingg it off and then suddenly I was admitted with nothing in the freezer.......

Lisha- have a fab weekend, I hope you enjoy the concert on Sunday. And I really reeally hope you can spare me half an hour before your flight for a cup of coffee at the airport. Xxxx

Soooo, Jono spent the whole day yesterday going 4hr stretches between feeds, ever since NICU it's been 3hrly, which was lovely, the colic was only from 7:30 until 9 and to top it off he went from 9:30 til 4:30 for his feeds, don't want to jinx it but I feel so much better for yesterday and tonights routines! Shame I have to be up at 6 to leave for Pretoria because DH has an early meeting with his clients.

Aaaaaaaaaand...... DH & I did the deed last nightfor the first time since the steri and wow! It feels so freakin liberating to not fumble around with Condoms and not have the fear of falling preggers! I feel like a free woman starting out on my road to a new life. Crazy what the fear of an ooopsie can do to the libido. Also I don't know what the pregnancy did to me hormonally but WOW sex is so more intense for me since the birth, and as tired as I am I feel so horny all the time! It's really fantastic, I feel like a whole different person to that of before my pregnancy. I feel like when I was 21 again! I am loving my family life right now (minus the colic but that will pass)

You know that feeling you get toward DH after you have your first child, that extra bond that you form, well it's like since having the tweenies we have made even more bonds and we are just so incredibly in love, it's crazy because I thought we were as loved up as we could be yet now it feels so much stronger even through the fatigue and lack of private couple time.

I am really loving life and I think it's mainly because I am not suffering with the PND like last time, I can enjoy the good moments without feeling bitter about thre bad ones. Psycologically I feel so free like actually my head is surrounded by fresh air instead of the smokey smog feeling I had with C.

I do feel bad about one thing though, I have noticed my bond with C is not THAT strong, I already have formed bonds with the tweenies that took 6m+ with C and I can see that even those bonds are not that tight. He still makes my blood boil on many occasion and it makes me dislike him a lot. Tonight he smacked me in the face with a hand mirror in the bath because I was trying to wash his hair so I smacked him anywhere I could which happened to be his stomach (DH told me off because he says bums were made for smacking no where else which is right really) and I couldn't bring myself to talk to C the rest of the evening, it's so childish from my side but I actually resent the way this child treats me sometimes after everything I had to endure when he was a colic baby. I just have no patience with him and it has always been like that. I do feel bad about it after but I can see we're not 'tight' like I would like us to be, I think maybe I still have some resentment toward him?

Ooops, it's 5:20am and I'm sitting here writing an essay when I have to be up at 6, but it feels good to offload and this is the only time I get to post properly so it's all worth it.

Will continue tomorrow though.

CHRISTI - you just HAVE TO share some of those recipes!! PLEASE!! I need to make & freeze a few dinners before the baby comes so my DH & Bryce don't starve while I'm out of commission! My DH's idea of a healthy meal is woolies microwave meals - occasionally I make use of them too - but would rather know that I left real food for them in the freezer to heat & eat!! LOL

Vix yay on the new kitchen!!! very exciting.

Simon man your hubby is a gem :)

Nelria thanks, i was also worried about an eptopic pregnancy, lot of the ladies at work thought i had it so thats the main reason i went for bloods.

Dh and I have decided once i have sorted my drivers license out and we have done all we need in the new house I would go off my pill, which will proberly still be this year sometime :)

Mandy wrt Cam's biting, i hope the new technique will help, Keiran is backing to his hitting phase which drives me over the top.

The transfer for the house is finanlised :) :) :) We are just painting at the moment so we are moving in next weekend.....yipee! My mom has taken both days off to watch K for us.

Im looking forward to going home, such stunning weather here, hope it lasts all weekend.

Vix, its awesome to have a kitchen you love!!!

It also was great doing it all ourselves, the only downside was that for 3 weeks we didn't have a kitchen at all and it took us 2 months to get it finished the way it looks on the pics. We still need to do some of the finisings but its nothing major. And at least we saved a huge lot of money.

I've found a great book with recipies you can freeze. Just normal food, but I love it. The beef&butternut pie was awesome, the 1st one we had freshly baked and then on Wednesday I baked one of the frozen ones and it tasted just the same! For R120 we can eat dinner 3 times and have a little left over for lunch each time, a bargain for me. I also made 3 lasagna's for about R80 thats less than R30/meal. I am trying to make meals during weekends so we can have more peacefull evenings during the week.
