Lelani,I just think it it ridiculous of companies to pay in the bonusses and salaries so late! I know some companies pay bonusses early and then the salaries on the usual date so that people can at least do some shopping. Shame man and the shops are so hectic now.

Hey everyone

Not much news here, went to the hospital this morning to visit the daymother, she is going home tomorrow. Z just held her hand and was very concerned, shame.

And then we went to the shops again because my baby brother begged me to go and get a gift for my mom from him since he is incapable of doing anything for himself. I obliged because if don't do it my mom won't get anything. And she deserves something nice for letting him live with her.

Okay, so the family thing has been resolved and I swallowed my pride and said sorry. I know I was a total b#$& as well but they really caught me on the wrong day, hectic PMS! And then the usual Christmas depression has sunk in with me as well. I miss my older brother and feel bad about my dad, whom I have no communication anymore. He is a brilliant man but a manic depressive who refuses meds and he makes it impossible for anyone to be around him. He lives in Cape Town and doesn't even know that my brother lives close to him. Really sad.

But any hoo, although I have bad recollections of several Christmasses I really try to make it special for Ziani now. So I'm going to do my table for Chrismas beautifully, in lime green, fuchia pink, etc and I'm going to make everyone their own chicken pie, with pesto pasta salad and pine nuts, watermelon and feta salad, my own bread, baked potatoes, etc, etc. I'm going for a chocolate mouse and cream cheese layered pud which is going to be so deliciously kilojoule laden that I'll have to go on a diet on the 26th.

Oh yes and I downloaded a iphone app which works out your ovulation dates, etc, so maybe in 2011 Z will be surprised with a sibling

Helen, hope you got some rest and poor Nina with the poop and poor you having to clean it So happy for you that Oliver is doing so wonderfully now.

Mandy, the croc farm sounds nice, really want to do something special with Z next week.

Lwasi take it easy, it will take a while for you to get to know how to deal with amu again. These kids are very sensitive at the mo¤ don't react personally just be as gentle and patient until the two of you are close again. Even when I went away with cam for a week and arrived home cam refused to go to his dad until the next day !

Sheesshhh helen glad nina managed to get that poop all out. She must have been so uncomfortable just before it arrived ! Glad theo is giving you some peace and quiet !

We went to a croc farm this morning and had such a blast ! Cam got to hold the tiny 20 centrimetre 7 month old croc and a snake ! We had a guide who walked around and taught us so much ! Its near lanseria and well worth the visit but very pricey ! R140 entrance for the 3 of us and it was the cheaper of the two options for this morn ! The lion park down the road is R100 a head !

As you can tell I've been determined to have holiday fun and not just live in shopping malls ! And tomorrow we are off to pe so we have a whole new place to explore ! On that note, Simone did you take addy to the playland at kings beach ? I hear there are two at the beach this year ?

Okay julz hope you are settling in well, Vix wishing you lots of stength to get through these early days !

Lelani the olivedale hospital has a lancet and if you talk really nicely they don't do a doctor referral. Also only takes 4 hrs for results. Let us know what happens.

Morning Mummies,

Its absolute bliss here, Theo has taken Oliver out and Nina is sleeping I should be having a sleep myself but I had to have a quick stop in and say hello.

Things are going well, Oliver is getting cuter by the day and he's finally starting to talk a bit more (so that I can understand that is), he still talks in baby language but he's getting more words slowly, he still does a lot of sign language though, its quite weird, like when he sees flashing Christmas lights he'll open and close his eyes to imitate the flashing and when he wants something to eat he opens his mouth and points at his tongue lol. He's getting on well with Nina, as Mandy says he ignores her most of the time and just carries on with his own thing but sometimes he'll just come over and give her a kiss and a couple of times he's asked to hold her, those moments are too precious - and they never last long enough to get the damn camera out though!!

Nina's lovely, getting rolls of fat on her legs already hehe, my nipples are still sore but I'm persevering, the one is much worse than the other but it must get better sooner or later?! Had a long day with her yesterday, she was fine in the morning and just slept whilst we were out shopping then I fed her and we carried on with the shopping but she just wouldn't settle, she was screaming the whole way round Pick and Pay, I got soooo many looks as she's got a hefty set of lungs on her hehe, luckily I don't get embarrassed by that kind of stuff. Got in the car to come home, had to make a brief stop at the catering shop to get decorations for my Christmas cake so mum ran out and I waited in the car with Nina, she was getting agitated so I got her out of her car seat and OMG the reason why she'd been so agitated became clear, she'd had the most massive poop!!! I have never in my life had to clean up something so messy, bless her she was literally covered from shoulders to knees in poop because it was so big the nappy hadn't standed a chance of containing it!! I did the best I could with a packet of wet wipes then raced home to give her a bath, she was exhausted bless her. She hasn't pooped since last week Wednesday so I suppose its no surprise it was so massive. I'm still struggling to get her settled but its not stressing me out as yet, I think its cos I have Theo and mum around to help when I need it.

Mandy - Thanks for the visit, it was lovely to see you, thanks for the nice comments about our house, we are soooo far off it being anywhere near what we want it to be, we haven't even hung any pictures yet!! We'll get there all in good time

Lelani - Ouch on Chanels uniform etc...how is it legal for it to be so expensive?! Imagine when you have two kids to buy for...yikes I'm not looking forward to those days. As for watching 2 movies, I am so jealous, I can't stay awake long enough for one lol!!

Lisha - FX you get a nice bonus. Shrey sounds very cute with the peeping, Oliver does the same thing except he thinks if he closes his eyes we can't see him anymore LMAO

Lwasi - Thinking of you today, I can't even imagine how excited you must be. X x X

Morning ladies

Your afternoon sounded lovely - would love to have me one of those days.

Last night we did more shopping. Meat & groceries. Shrey made a huge poo at the end of the shopping but just bundled him back into carseat and back home for a bath lol - the smell was nasty!
He had a good night - at one point woke up complaining I took his bottle away - not sure what bottle he was talking about but just put him next to us and he fell asleep again.
This morning he was a little character - he woke up as i waked out the bathroom so he closed his eyes again and was peeping at me lol. After a couple minutes he couldn't do it anymore and started laughing ..... too precious. He didn't want us to leave this morning, kept saying 'I go work too' but no tears so all good.

Not much time to reply. Going to George today and I need to get myself ready before the twins get up.

Zee, yes I got the VK. I love it! ALready told all my family to grab a copy!

I am so proud of my babies, they are now completely off bottles. They keep their juice bottles next to their beds and if they're thirsty they drink from that. And no more milk so their appetites are through the roof. They want to eat all the time but I'm keeping it healthy at least.

That's all I can remember right now. Will pop in later again.
