Vix i can see where you are coming from, you obviously feel that everything will be more relaxed, planned and go according to plan if your gyne deliveries the babies, which is understanable as that is what every mother wants, escpecially carrying more than one baby! Has your gyne agreed to this? If he has than i am sure it will be ok. and ultimatly it is your decision in the end. We are here just to support you and show you that we care about you and the tweenies etc.

I just want to say that I think every person on this forum is genuinely concerned about the wellbeing of each child and all the new arrivals.

Vix, I think Mandy was looking to know why you said to Helen what you did vs your decision to take the twins out at 36w...which you have now cleared up.

I too have been wondering about the decision as I also have heard that boys are not as strong as girls...and 36w twins are not the same as 36w singletons..so I jsut assumed they may have a harder time . My friend's lb had numerous health problems and he was born at 36w and a few days, but I do know this differs from child to child and each case is different.

At the end of the day Vix it is your decision and as you say you will live with whatever happens, and we all must/should/will respect that.

I do admire that you ladies are prepared to voice your concerns though with one another though.

So Vix please dont be cross or stew...I think that its great that she/we all are concerned with the well being of the twins as we all care about each other so much. Its actually a compliment (in my opinion) that she cared enough to ask.

Yoza I love meatballs. You can make a nice tomato sauce packed with veggies? Baby marrow, mushrooms, carrots, etc. And serve the meatballs with some mash, sauce over it and then salad and extra veg on the side?

Vix your concern is obviously for your babies and if your gynae is fine with delivering early then there should be no hassles. I will just say that there are incredible gynaes out there. I know how you feel about yours vix and I would never want to replace mine either.

If your gynae isn't happy delivering early then possibly meet up with another who can handle the delivery so that you at least know him/her.

My gynae was away at 37 weeks and I was also terribly stressed out. I remember seeing this idiot and said to Neil there is no way he is delivering Dylan. Luckily the idiot said that another gynae was on call and I had heard only great things about him so that made me more comfortable.

Is your gyane out of town Vix? Most gynaes will deliver even if on leave. My surgeon said unless he is out of town, he is available to me when I need him even if not on call.

Julz: My cousin sent me the link but ive been so busy to register onkly yesterday i saw it was full for the dates i wanted im thinking i just choose other days as the are spaces available.

Ct ladies: yep lelani's house oh im so excited we are going to have a ball.

I had a good night with siba oh well our nights are always good as he sleeps right through and yes in our bed. The lil madam as well which is turning out well. He just looks for my boob drinks and sleeps again. she turning 8 months tomorrow I cannot believe. my baby will soon be a toddler.

Siba is now taking instructions only from piwe. he has a tendency of opening doors and leaving them open now we fetch him and say siba close the door. Which he does and bangs them and we all say thank you.

Still no talking a lot of babbling but i can see he says some words and most words he used to say he longer does. I just love the way he calls buhle he says buhlehle so cute.

Any dinner ideas ladies today im making meatballs with veggies DH favourite.

was just stating things matter of factly, I honestly do feel that statement was judgemental because it was basically calling me a hypocrite and that was not what my initial recommendation to Helen was all about.

If i leave the babies to come after 36w and the covering gynae makes me feel uncomfortable that leaves me sitting with the imminent arrival of my babies and no gynae. That leaves me completely out of controll and very stressed out, just what i don't want in my last few weeks of pregnancy.

But like i said they will come when they come and if i am a terrible person for taking them out early to have my own gynae then so be it, i can live with that. I am the one who will have to deal with any consequences.

Vix I think Mandy meant well by her comments and I tend to agree with her. Boys lungs tend to be less developed in general so obviously leaving the babies in as long as possible is ideal, but I know you have faith in your gynae and trust him fully so you will make the best decision.
