Mandy so did u ever get the call?

The party went well...everything looked really nice. Kids had a blast! Mandy advice...seriously don't waste money on savouries for kids. The kids really just played and played. I even had extra sweets on table and I shoved into party packs before they left. They didn't even touch the cupcakes. Oh and weather was fine.

Bryce and Addy are both having their parties today, hope they go well. My office move is a real stuff up, I was told to be on standby since 10 am and that they would likely need me there by latest 12noon, so I had to decline Bryces party, then i call in at 11am and they say 12h30 and with Bryces party being half way to pretoria we have had to miss it and now i still sit here waiting for the call!

I hope the parties are great! We want pictures please!

any tips from the toddler parties you mommies are hosting should please be passed along! what worked and waht kept the kids busy ? and how do you get around this HEAT!! its like 30 degrees out there!

Hope you are all enjoying the weekend so far. The paper went okay, I'm sure i will pass, now just another two on the 15th and 16th of November ... (Yoza how are your studies going and Nelria, do you have any subjects left?)

Z is having a nap now, she enjoyed the Kindermusik so much but oh dear, this 'myne' phase is really killing me. Like EVERYTHING is now hers, even my car is hers and the gardener!

Not much plans for the weekend except a braai this avi (Go Province!) ...

Vix, yay!!! I'm so pleased that the tweenies are growing nicely now!

Lelani, hope you and DH are okay again. Sjoe, this has quite been a hectic year for me on the marriage front. I honestly think that if DH and I can stay married until December we might make it to our golden anniversary

Helen, good luck with the decision. I was very dissapointed when I couldn't deliver naturally, and I think we should've waited another week, I hated the induction. But my C section was okay, not too much pain and my word, when those drugs started working, it was pure bliss after the full flippen day of labour pains

Ally, hope you enjoy the party. Can't wait to see the pics.

Hi ladies.

So THANK GOODNESS almost everything is done for the babyshower. Cookies iced, cupcakes decorated. All I have to do this morning is finish 2 of the decor items, put shells in bottles and then go buy flowers. The shower only starts at 13h30 but I'm going to try to be in JHB by 11 so I can help out. My friend is terribly nervous and her boyfriend's mother isn't helping. She's a complete control freak. But at least my friend's mother is there to calm her down.

Vix, So glad everything is good with the twins. I was looking at all my twin mom's photo's on FB the other day and Madeleine went into labour at 33 weeks I think? I also had a labour scare at 33 weeks and I think Nosipho also did. So wierd. Enjoy the last couple of weeks and TAKE IT EASY. You DON'T want to be put on bedrest. I was on bedrest for one day and I went insane!!!! (and mine wasn't even proper bedrest)

Mandy, so sucky that you have to work today!

Ok girlies, I need to get going. I have a whole nautical outfit planned...why I go through all this trouble is beyond me but at least I know it will make my friend happy lol. And no, I'm not wearing a sailor outfit lol..just jeans with a navy and white striped top with red accessories.

Hi guys, shoooo how hectic does a day become when it's filled with appointments....... So C's rash is some kind of skin infection probably picked up from the outdoor play area at the Wimpy on Saturday. He said maybe even from cat urine or feaces in the sand pit but the cream should fix it soon. And He checked the ears and said there is a slight inflamation behind the ear drum so no antibiotics just some Betanoid to take the inflamation down. It looks like he probably did have a bit of infection but I must have cleared it with DH's drops.

I feel like a huge weight off my shoulders with the news of tweenies growth. Dr said it could possibly have been that tweenie 2 was struggling to get enough nourishment due to the Rhesus disease (what I had the injection for) and because my body was trying to fight off the 'foreign' twin twin 1 was able to get all the nourishment but it's all speculation until we know the blood group of the babies after the birth but if we have no more serious sudden growth deviations that is his bet for the cause. I asked if I should rather be buying the wayyyyy more expensive preg omega plus and he said if I want to because the omega 3's will always be a good thing but it's not essential, it won't directly affect the physical growth of the twins as such.

Thanks to everyone for all your support, well wishes and thoughts over the past 2 weeks and especially today. Without you gals I would most certainly have gone mad by now!

Helen- Mandy is right, please don't stop talking about your birthing descision debate, I for one always quite enjoy the debate and all the different views.

Nelly- If the twins were head down I might kinda consider natural birth after all the beautiful dreams I keep having but my Gynae is on leave for the end of my pregnancy too and I just don't trust anyone else enough with the well being of myself and the tweenies during a VBAC. Sad I know, to think I would rather have them born at 36w than have a different dr but for me half the battle of a C-sec is knowing and trusting your Dr completely and for me trust is earned over time so I would be very nervous if I had anyone else at this late stage.

Everyone keeps asking when I'm being booked in for the op but that's another thing I adore about my gynae, he will never book the date more than a few days in advance. His way is to rather monitor well being every few days and try and give babies every extra day inside possible without too much risk. I love that because so many Dr's book C-secs earlier than needed.

I am planning on anything from 34-36w gestation just to be safe so yes I realistically have 4w weeks left of being pregnant EVER again as Mandy so beautifully put it but I'm not sad about that by any means. I like being pregnant, it's an experience for sure but I certainly don't 'love' it. It's a means to an end and that end is my big brood of boys. It's like the newborn thing, no I don't adore newborns at all! I love this toddler stage and the first 18m are just a way of getting to that nice phase. Besides my body couldn't cope with this again, it's quite broken this time around.

Lisha- I hope you got all your 'problems' sorted today and the pressure is off a bit!

Lelani- I hope you and DH had a nice evening together. Haven't you organized his 'treat' yet?

Helen- so any new 'feelings' on the sex of your baby? I am still sooooooooo excited to find out.

Mandy- bummer that you have to work tomorrow!!!!!! Bloody nuisence especially as your week was generally fairly quiet, shame they didn't move on Monday!

Just a quick pop in before the weekend, have my friend's baby shower tomorrow and a 2nd Birthday on Sunday so doubt I'll get much time to log in.

Lisha - No need to apologise about the comment The opinions vary across the board so who knows what the answer is really. The recovery from the cut and tear was fine, the only department where it caused problems was in the bedroom as it was really uncomfortable to be intimate with DH for about a year afterwards and I'm nervous of the same thing happening and I think that's my biggest concern really. LMAO at Shrey telling your MIL to go to the kitchen, that's hilarious!!!!!!!!!
