Lisha, so awful about your friends LG. I was also scared about injuries one can't see when Iris fell.

Re weddings, I'm a bit p33d at our friends who are getting married in Oct. The guy is supposed to be DH's best friend, and at our wedding, I did my best to accomodate him as a best man when hubby decided he wanted him to be one, as well as his brother. Then I also had to accomodate his GF at the time as a 2nd bridesmaid.. Now they are getting married and guess what?! He doesn't ask DH (who is his supposed best friend) to be his best man, the excuse being that I would then have to handle Iris by myself and they can't expect that WTF? Then yesterday we get the invite AND it says NO CHILDREN?! So what the hell, Iris won't even be allowed to be there but she is the excuse used not to ask DH as best man At this stage I don't even feel like going... Oh and they are getting married on a Sunday afternoon at 16:00 and how on earth can you ask someone to babysit on a sunday evening when everyone usually has a quiet evening to get ready for the week ahead??

Grrrr.... sorry but just had to vent!!!

Oh my those are such cute cakes Vix. And good luck to you with 3 boys lol. I said to my friends that I'm only having another baby if someone can guarantee me it's a girl lol these boys were typical typical boys and the younger one always hit first

Yes my friend is a very nervous mum and a very guilt ridden one at the moment. I had a long chat with her on Sunday night and she says she felt a bit better afterwards ... thing is you can't always anticipate what these kids will do next ... they are very quick. But with her & yourself it just shows that mum's intuition is best!

Zee- i saw these great teletubbies birthday cakes, all you need to do is find someone as talented as Leigh to make one for you!!!

Lisha- wow, now can you imagine the trouble I'm going to have with 3 boys in 2 years time? oooooooo tough times ahead i think!

Ally- thanks for all your advice, i know i can get practical twin advice from you, i also think it'll be fine to just move them from the car seats into the pram, i just can't see it being worth thousands of rands for a few months.

Oh Lisha - sorry for your friends 4 yr old! Same thing happened to us with Cams shoulder fracture - they didnt pick it up and said, just give him panado!! He was in SUCH PAIN for 72 hrs and I KNEW there was something more too it!!! Hope the little gal doesnt fall again, she must be such a nervous mother! How do you keep a 4 yr old out of mischief!!!

Im back at work and avoiding jumping into all the work i have to catch up on from not being here on friday!!

Little cam managed to pick up a snotty nose from somewhere so the breathing through the nose was short lived! but im sure it will get better soon!He battled last night, I went in twice and the snot was all over his lips and driving him CRAZY!! SHAME MAN - i felt so sorry for him!

Anyhoo - gotta work chat later!

Vix I also find the BB sometimes takes very long to load and at times doesn't load fully ... very irritating indeed.

Nicole glad you got K's outfit sorted ... can't wait to see the pics.

Ally Shrey has displayed more use of his left hand but he also uses his right hand often.

Oh guys my friends lg, 4 years old, fell out of a trolley. She ended up with a linear fracture on her skull and the docs say that if she falls again before it heals she may need an op ... so frightening how quick these kids are. And even more frightening was that the intial x-ray done at casualty didn't reveal the fracture and the rude doctor on call just dismissed my friends concerns and was very condescending ... the following day the paed asked for a CT scan and then only did they pick up the fracture.
