Angelique: I can imagine how stressed you must be. I am not even sure what to say siba is also a fussy eater but has never had weight issues I practically force feed him and that has helped a lot especially with him not wanting course food. I hope the pediasure works.
Try soaking 250g cashew nuts for 24 hours in water, mix with 2/3olive oil, 2/3 cocont oil and and blend it its tastes bad but add honey. Its good for their developement. Its a mixture ive been told to give siba before he eats daily from the centre he attends therapy. people swear by scotts emulsion for apetite. I also give them that as well. Just suggestions im not sure if these will help. all the best dear

We've had a busy weekend and also did a crap load of shopping! Addison was ridiculously spoilt. We planned to buy trampoline for her birthday and it was on special at makro so we got it yesterday. She got a laptop as well, plus the gifts I brought her from Dbn and today lo and behold she wants a pink iron she saw at a shop. Have to be firm now and noooooo gifts until freakin Christmas!

Friday night I woke up in quite a bit of pain plus SIX loo trips during the night so realised it must be a bladder infection. Citro soda at least helping with that so hope it clears without me needing doctor.

Hi Simone, the conference sounds nice! Glad youre back safely with your favourite people though!

Official due date is 4 Oct but since I know Im going for the c sec it is going to be end of September, will probably talk about the date when I see him on Friday.

Ih had a busy weekend and Im still cleaning after a braai we had last night. Dh always arranges these &@@@$$ big events and then I sit with the mess the next day whilst he is enjoying himself at the rc track ! Not in the best of moods. Z is also coming down with something and we had very little sleep. Any hoo, i should probably stop moaning and go and get the mop!!! Grrrrrr.

Angelique Ftt is a serious condition! I pray u can fatten him up and I assume that would boost his immune system as well? The pediasure has to help!! Give it to him with every meal if u must. Does paed have any plan of action for u?

I'm back home after very slight flight delay. Addison was so happy to see me. This morning she was crying for me apparently walking up and down the passage crying: I want to see my mummy now!

Did a lot of walking yesterday and not much rest so feeling a bit tired and my legs are sore (more unfit that pregnancy...lol). So just want good night's sleep and plan to do some shopping tomorrow.

Baby very active which I love:) can't wait for next scan...need to book with gp this week for a check up...while I wait to see gynae.

Conference was nice. Met lots of people and boy were we treated well! Food, drinks and gifts! We got flash drives, bags, stationery, cap, stress balls, flask mug, projector clock,etc and then final gift today was 640GB external hard drive which we were very excited about.

Will try and do some more replies tomorrow!

Ange, hope Cole will gain that weight now! Dont feel bad, A lot of us struggle to get the kids to eat! They are difficult at this stage.

Yoza, glad Siba is doing better, hope you will continue to see amazing improvement.

Ally, hope your cousin is doing better, by the sound of it he is very lucky to be alive!

Hi ladies, oh my goodness I am so glad its Friday! Ziani is doing well and we found a creche this afternoon. We both like the place, Z immediately started to play and the headmaster really took time to chat to us both and show us around. Going well with baby too, bought his car seat and cot so we are feeling more prepared at least!


Its going to be impossible to catch up but just want to say how incredibly happy I am that you can now relax and enjoy your pregnancy, Mandy!
The train idea sounds great, just afraid to commit myself to a date at this stage. Ive got a hectic September and I dont have a definite c sec date yet... Think the rest should decide on a date and then Ill fall in with the plans if I can.

Simone, hope youre back in PE by now? How are you feeling these days?

Firstly Mandy I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy that all is well with your precious bundle. God is great and I am glad that you now bet so enjoy your beautiful pregnancy.

Yoza, I'm truly happy that Siba is doing well.

Don't have time to reply but just wanted to let you know that Cole fell sick again the day before I had to go to Jozi. Had another Viral infection which lead to a hectic fever and them a funny rash on his whole body. So not the paed is even more concerned about his weight he is only 11kg which meand that in almost a year he only really picked up 200g. So I need to get him fattened up (practically forcing paediasure down his throat) and have to see what else I can do. Going back in 2 months time to see if he manages to pick up weight because she is concerned that he may have (FTT - Failure To Thrive)

So ja, feel like a really crappy mother but as you all know I have been stuggling with Cole and eating and I guess I will just have to work harder.

Sorry for the moaning especially since I have been MIA for such a long time.

I will try and catch up and reply (as best as I can) over the weekend.
