Ally I'll be supporting Spain tonight too!!! not too fond of Germans in any sport ...

Last night I watched about an hour and a half of tv with Shrey before he fell asleep but good thing was that he fell asleep all on his own when he was ready too and only woke this morning after 5:30 ... maybe the trick is to keep him awake till late (last night he only slept at 8:30).

Oh and today is our 9 year anniversary and I am laying the guilt on pretty thick for dh going to soccer when it's our anniversary ...
Dh told Shrey to wish me a happy anniversary this morning and then he gave me a kiss. Shrey was having none of that and says to dh 'uh uh mwah mummy' and pushed dh away lol

Nicole my sister is getting married and wants Dylan there. I don't so we are hiring a babysitter for the night party as we are staying at the venue.

This wedding is about you and your hubby. Your mom will take care of K and don't stress about it. x

Yoza glad the kids are okay.

will catch up a bit later

Mom of Dylan and Partner to Joerg. We live in the Beautiful Pringle Bay which is along the Whale coast, Cape.

Nicole- STOP! I agree with Nelria, he nor your mum will die from spending a night completely without you. How will you ever enjoy yourself running around after K all night. He will eat like a king for the day, just eating all the nice things and having a real ball!

Nelria- so pleased Xen is keeping his milk down again now.

Yoza- I hope the kids get better soon!

Lisha- I'm pleased you didn't take Simones advice and sit in the garage, you'd have missed a good game LOL

Hi Mommies.

Vix, happy you had a better night. Shocking about the lady putting stopayne in her child's body...she's raising a little druggie!

Mandy, wow R50 000 for one room? That's ridiculous? If you want I can get the number of the builder that did our renovations. I'm sure our whole section cost like R50 000 (excluding tiles and paint). He's a real afrikaans builder but he is very sweet, his work is immaculate and he works fast and clean. You can maybe just phone and ask if he even does building in JHB?

Vix and Ang, my 2 are also still on the dummy but at breakfast, they usually hand it to me (on their chains) and I hide it. They usually forget about it during the day but there are random dummies everywhere so they usually find one. We only give them their dummies when they are being very difficult and tired. We don't give it to them when we go out anymore although I always have them in my bag. They HAVE to have their dummies at night or they won't sleep.

I'm supporting Spain tonight. They've been my team since the beginning. :)

NIcole, you can't stress about that just yet. It's your night and I promise you that it will all turn out just fine. Give K finger food but just make sure it's got a bit of protein etc. Everything will be fine! :)

Well C and I are fighting. I thought I told him that at 1 (when the twins are napping) i'm taking my brother to get new furniture and I didn't. So now he comes to me and says that he has to take his car to this lady who wants to buy it. So I asked what time he's going coz I have to take my brother and he freaked out saying that his car is more important than my brothers furniture and I always choose my brother over him and I should go marry my brother. I first laughed at him and then I got upset and told him to grow the F*ck up and I just asked when he's going. Now we're not talking. But it's so stupid...he's going in the next 20 minutes. I mean WTF? He's going to be back WAY before 1 anyway, so it's such a stupid argument. But oh well, I'm not really bothered.

Hello ladies

Yoza...LOL I was also very scared of going to Khayalitsha but luckily it was at the Oliver Tambo Indoor Centre (so just off the N2) and because my brother was one of the performers we were escorted in by police and could park where al the other performers parked. I miss say the people were well behaved and the police and security guards made sure that everything was safe.

Nicole, I agree with Nelria..just let your mum pack a bag with snacks and I promise you K will be fascinated with all people and everything. Most hotels do have camping cots for babies to sleep in and I am sure K will be great with you mom

Yoza, hope that Siba and Buhle gets better soon.

Vix I am glad that the pain is better. I was just about to say that I also got a lot of the ligament pains when I was pregnant so I can only imagine what it feels like if you have to carry 2 babies.

Simone..trust Vix to read about an Adult Sideline job....but I cracked myself up when I read her post.

Nelria, glad Xen is keeping his feeds down.

Angie, don't worry too much about the dummy and what people think. He will lose it soon enough...hopefully before he starts School...LOL

Now ladies, I wil have to get back to work.

Chat again later

lol Yoza they banned me to garage    Simone was suggesting I go sit in garage and train Shrey to fall asleep with dh cos he hardly ever does so if I'm around :(

Nelria good luck with dentist.

Nicole stop stressing right now!!!! He will be fine. It is one night only and he will probably be so fascinated with everyone around him he won't trouble at all. And then he will be so exhausted he will most likely sleep till the morning. And re the bed just do what I do when we stay out ... push it against the wall and let him sleep on that side ... easy peasy ;) Now stop stressing and enjoy your preps. And maybe just take him out in the evenings over the weekend so that he gets used to activity and people close to bedtime. When we went away Shrey fell asleep in packed dining room both nights so I'm sure K will do the same.

AFM: took the kids to see the gp. i just love that lady. he gave siba some cough mixture and nose drops. she said to use antibiotics when he she is not getting any better.

I put the humidifier on last night so that it helps them. they managed to sleep. siba only woke up when he fell of the bed. am not sure how he managed to get to the other end of the bed. he soon fell asleep afterwards.

Buhle did not get any meds the gp said she wanted to test the urine and if the chest does not improve than she will nebulise her. for now we can give panado. those damn urine bags are tricky. could not get anything last night.

I think im also coming with the flu. but nothing serious.
