Ally- thanks for your post last night. Thankfully I was absolutely fine last night but if it happens again I will take a myprodol because the panado did nothing.

Mandy- we have 3 bedrooms in the main part of the house and then on the other end there is an en suite guest bedroom so we're pretty well set up. We have an old house in an old residential area. DH rented the house from his ex's grandfather for about 8 years, then 5 years ago he wanted to sell and offered it to Elwyn at a bargain price so our bond is low yet we have a big house. Our rates aren't too bad either because it's not classed as the best of areas but actually it's just a stigma because it's actually really peaceful. Most of the residents of my street have lived here for 20+ years. I run Babybear from the guest ensuite side of the house but when the twins come I'll turn it back into a guest room for my mum to stay in. The twins will share a bedroom for most of their life, C will have his own. We can actually probably stay in this house until our kids leave home if we have to but our goal is to buy a plot one day. You guys must all come here for a meet in the summer, I have a nice big garden and swimming pool too.

Nelria- Coconut cake is just a vanilla sponge with dessicated coconut in, it doesn't make it crunchy, it's nice. I'll make some next time I come to you. Wow I can't believe Xen is already nearly a month old, time flies too fast!

Simone- no, you definately did write Audit but I was speed reading.

Shame, My DH is never really that much in the mood for sex but we haven't done anything for about 8w now and I can see it's going through his mind but I told him last night, he must just wait until after the next scan when I'll be more sure about the babies well being. I'm just too nervous, I'm getting twitches and stabbing pains in my cervix so I just want to confirm with gynae that I don't have an incompetent cervix.

I was so calm about my pregnancy up to 12w because I knew what to expect and how my body might react to things but now, wow, the stress is x2 and the strain on my body is x2. I just wish the scans were x2 LOL

Simone- I remember dopplers being like R700 when we were all pregnant but one of my Jan/feb ladies got one for R300 so I think I'm going to look around a bit.

Angie- I hope you're feeling better today!

Hi ladies, thought I'll pop in early before I get too busy.
Firstly, I just want to thank you all for being such great support the last few days! You are all wonderful, understanding people and although I haven't met one of you, I feel extremely close to all of you, and don't know what I will do if I cannot chat here. I am sorry that I have been such a cry-baby and boring-feeling-sorry-for-herself person this week so far, I am on my way of getting to be positive again, and picking my head up! The week is half way, so hopefully by Friday I'll be there.
As for at home-CJ has been waking up at 5 every morning since Saturday, and crying, don't know what it is, but I think he is teething as he is pushing his dummy deep into his mouth and bites on it! He gets in bed with us at 5 but does not sleep again...GRRRR!
As for the tantrums, last night went a bit better - but don't want to say too much, as I am scared that I'll jinx it!
About the dummy - CJ is totally attached to his dummy, I try to only offer it too him when it is nap or bedtime, but he cries for it constantly and when he sees it his little face light up and he goes nana nana... he is not that attached to his bottle though and during the day not drinking out of it at all.. but the dummy, I am not sure how I am going to wean him off of it. Any advise or other ladies who's LO are attached to dummies????

Hope everyone had a good night and that all the tantrum throwing LO's was well-behaved!

Vix - I am sorry for the pains - hope they get better soon, but I also think its the ligaments stretching, but let it be checked out if it persists or gets worse, just to be safe!

Simone LOL - Addy with her boots, I can just picture it!!!! These kids!

Mandy - TTC soon??? NICE!!!

Julz, quite a debate your got going on with the medicating you child thread, love that you stick to your guns and don't let them get to you! And by the way - I totally agree with you on the subject! I believe that at one or other point the child is going to get addicted to the meds and wont be able to live without it, AND THEN WHAT!!!!????

Anyway - hope you all have a fab day!

What a vision of Addy trying to walk in her fasionista boots, not realising why she keeps taking a tumble!

Vix, shame honey! what a rough time you are having! Just to think, i have it all still coming! Vix, i was wondering how many bedrooms your home has? Luckily the house is big enough! We will have to build on a room before our second baby arrives and we have heard quotes of R50 000 for ONE ROOM! ( since it has to be built ontop of our garage ) we bought in a complex 2bed 2 bath, liking the option of being able to add a 3rd bedroom later on.. so its the later on. We have been paying off the house for 4 years and we have only got R50 000 for our accesss bond now, but we wanted to keep the access bond for emergencies for the rough months since dh is a freelancer and YOU NEVER KNOW! anyhoo, i think Im almost ready to go off the pill - but perhaps I will go off for 3 months and try from october if my dh gets the annual contract for the job he has just started for now..hmmmm so many new expenses i was adding up for a second! but we will manage, YOU JUST DO!! You gals can vouch for that!

okay - must be off, watching the soccer with one eye on the pc!!

Vix, just quickly... I got those pains SO Much while pregnant. ANd the last 3 weeks I couldn't sleep cause it was so sore. My doc said it was ligaments stretching and stuff and that I could take 1 myprodol every 2 days. Not much but at least gave me like 6 hours of non-pain!

Vix u had me laughing so loud now! I had the same image of lonely Lisha in the garage! Lol. I was also thinking...please don't tell me I wrote 'adult'?? well its supposed to be audit if I did have typo.lol.

No other interviews lined up...pe is dead job wise!

Vix I see why u want a doppler.maybe a good investment. Obviously stress x 2 worrying something is wrong. maybe the pains were those ligament stretching pains? If u have them again...maybe just go be checked out?

Its flippin cold in pe tonight!

Vannah bought Addy boots but I needed to change them and as soon as she saw them in shop she wanted to wear them. The boots were tied together though..so it was so funny seeing her try to walk! I thought that's a great alternative to a harness! Lol.
