Nelira I just remembered that Dylan used to tugg at my breasts like that when I had thrush and he had it in his mouth. It may be from the antibiotics too so maybe give him probiotics like the reutri drops.

Mom of Dylan and Partner to Joerg. We live in the Beautiful Pringle Bay which is along the Whale coast, Cape.

Sorry I was scarse today, for some reason my phone wouldn't get onto moomie, it uses links to pages from memory so I was trying to load any of yesterdays pages without luck, when I decided to go in from the home page (thanks Julz) it worked.

O.k I'll try to remember as much as possible.

Simone- today you are cracking me up! I was speed reading and read "I got a tlittle adult sideline job worth R6000-7000" I was thinking, wow, that sounds interesting, is it a porno or something LOL good job I re read, didn't really think porn was your style no matter how tight money is LOL I'm still laughing! Then you tell Lisha to go out and sit in the garage LMAO I can just imagine her sitting in this freezing cold garage whilst DH & Shrey battle it out in the nice warm bedroom LOL phew, need to stop laughing now!

Nelria- My first encounter with projectile vomit was when C was 10 days old and I panicked, I phoned the pead for an appointment nearly in tears and quickly jumped in the bath with C and straight to the pead. I swear he had this 'oh here we go' smirk on his face. I did exactly the same twice more before changing peads and still being told, it happens. It's not nice though! Apparently the little valve that closes of the stomach can be very weak in some babies, no real reason but if you are medicating with muscle relaxants it will also cause the valve to be weak. C had reflux too, now not what nearly every mum you'll ever meet will call reflux, seriously, he would sick up and cry after, in between and even before feeds. The projectile vomits became less with age but still very messy and very gross. As long as some of the milk is staying down in a 24hr period it's not serious just messy. C also did a lot of weird things on the boob during certain weeks and sometimes he was fine. I had a very fast flow and could only use my left boob when C was fully awake and starving or he would choke. Try hand expressing a little milk before getting Xen to latch, that helped just to get that first flood out the way before C started to drink.

Angelique & Simone- I don't know about your fascination with young boys LOL his huge white grin puts me off everytime, his mouth and head are humongous! LOL

C throws lovely tantrums but he tends to leave the best ones for in public!

Zee sent email this morning to say she has been blocked from Moomie at work so she will only get to pop in on the weekends. Shame! Maybe it is that new Editor they employed..... Mmm don't like her already! LOL

Simone- yay about not counting out Coke yet! Any more interviews lined up?

I had a horrible evening and night, feel a lot better today after a pain free stress free day but was quite disturbed by last night. At about 7pm I said to Elwyn I need panado and bed as soon as C is out the bath because I had stomach cramps over the top and down the left side of my belly. You know when you get that hungry ache? Well by 8pm I could barely walk to bed but I did so and layed down with heat packs on my tummy. I was in agony, I have honestly never had stomach cramps like it, I was sure I must have eaten something bad yesterday. The pain went right down into my pelvis and eventually I just fell asleep. I woke up in tears, I had this dream that I had started bleeding and it was so vivvid I actually woke up crying going to the loo to check how much blood there was. Thankfully there was no blood but I was feeling quite disturbed by my dream. I am feeling much better today but when I popped out for bread C made me carry him and that caused a lot of pain in my lower abdomen again so I have now decided no matter how much he cries and screams I cannot pick him up. My body is obviously under a lot of strain making room for 2 babies and I need to be more careful.

C is in love with his boy doll, it must bath, eat and sleep with him! He woke In the night, takes his dummy out and says Mama, mama, more mama (now he's asking for milk) so because I was already sore I gave him milk but he stopped drinking to give 'babak his little bottle. Very cute.

Oh and Yoza I'm also rooting for Netherlands tonight :) I've developed a hatred for Diego Forlan (don't ask me why because he's actually a very good football player I just can't handle him, I've always had a similar hatred for Ruud Van Nistelroy as well...maybe its something to do with the long hair!). And after Suarez handball incident I think they are unworthy to go through to the final so I'd be rooting for whatever team played against them lol.

Simone Oliver will also quash your theory, he's not in daycare either, he comes to work with me still ;)

I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one with a screaming, moaning, body throwing, body shaking tantrumer ;) Lets just hope its a phase that doesn't last too long ;)

Angie - my DH is also getting very short tempered with Oliver's tantrums and keeps saying he needs a good hiding (and has given him one on a couple of occassions :( ) but it doesn't seem to make any difference and although I don't object to a child being smacked I think at this age its still a bit too early.

I think half the problem with Oliver is probably frustration at not being able to express himself. I do ignore it as much as I can and try not to give in where possible but flip its hard work and sometimes I find myself shouting at him because I get fed up with it  And as for distraction, doesn't work with my stubborn mule :S

Does anyone know why nappies have come down so much in price? I'm seriously not complaining but its just so bizarre that we were payiong like R200 (sometimes more!) for a jumbo pack of Pampers Active and now we can get them for R120? I feel like I was ripped off for all the nappies that I had to pay so much more for (remember Oliver has been in size 5s since he was like 6 months old or something) lol. And has anyone used those Pampers Premium Care? I see they've got them for R99 a Jumbo pack at Checkers and I was contemplating getting a pack for the baby...

lol maybe i should try that Simone, just go quietly sit in garage hahahaha Dh says if I go out he will just put Shrey in car and drive around till he falls asleep. Who knows what will happen if he wakes up and I'm not next to him.
Last night I just went into shower and there he wakes up and sobbed till I came out. As soon as I took him cry stopped and he was asleep

Ya so not really much I do at night due to all that fuss!

Seriously Lisha...so thats why you cant really go out at night? Have u ever tried to leave him with his dad though to put him to sleep? And like left the house...even if you go sit in the garage?
