nicole - stop it!!!!!!!! its your night and k will survive and even if he doesnt your mum will be kind enough to not tell u - she raised u and she can handle him for one night

he can sleep on floor (or in camping cot)
he can snack on whatever your mum offers
he will be so busy with busyness he wont even see u

anyhoe just breath, relax and organise and let your mum deal with k :)

lea has learned EINA so hurt her leg a few days back and now the eina comes out ever few minutes for a kiss - so eina is exclusive to leg but we getting there

Morning Mommies, my strategy worked (gosh hope I havent jinxed it) but Keiran only went to sleep at 19:30, he only woke up once to get out his cot into our bed and then had his bottle at 05:00 then slept til 06:15, its not a full nights sleep but man it was better than the past 2 weeks :)

Vix and Simone, you ladies crack me up

Angie K is also attached to his dummy,Its funny though at Creche he only has it at nap times and then goes the rest of the day without it but at home he tends to want it more.

Vix sorry about the sore cramps, but like the other ladies say maybe its just strechy pains.

I was also very happy that Netherlands won :cheer: so ladies who's side will you be supporting tonight?

Where is the thread re: mediatating your child?

Okay so im starting to stress about the wedding now, but most of it revolves around K. Like

5 O Clock is supper time, where am I going to fee him? just give him finger snacks just for that night?
One if he is scared of all the people and is unhappy or crying?
What if he doesnt want to be with my mom and refuses to settle with her for the night?
We have booked my mom into the hotel we staying in for night so there had to be no driving for her with K, but now just rememebered that the Bed is situated in the middle of the room, what if K rolls of the bed?

you see its over little things but also things that could affect our night? my mom says not to stress as K is always so well behaved and is always happy being with her, but what if he wont be because its a strange place? maybe i shouldnt have to many glasses of champagne. lol.

Morning mummies

Re dummies: people are so judgemental nowadays its actually annoying. So what if the babies love their dummies. when they are good and ready they will stop.

Vix: Sorry about the pains im sure your body is really going through a lot. just relax and focus on your baba's

Angie: Im glad that you and DH took the first and opened communication lines. Talking is the step of working on your problems.

Angie: Khayelitsha, not in a bad way i am so scared of going to that part of the world went once came back my car had been fiddled with vowed never to go again. And yes dearest friend we got rhythm.

Simone: Yay on the sideline job. how i wish i could get soemthing like that.

Mandy: baba no 2. I like that kind of chatting.

Helen: yay uruguay is out. How is the baba?

re tantrums i must say i am one lucky mummie siba tantrum are really not bad. when he cries he forgets and focus on something else.

Lisha: speed reading whats this about shrey and hubby and garage.

Vix, Cj is exactly the same - and I do the same with him, also take it away, but it is as if he always wants to know where it is, and then asks for it!
I suppose like other children have blankies, or some sort of comfort thing, my LB's comfort thing is his dummy, so I also have to make peace with it!!!! Good to know I am not the only one getting the funny frowned looks!!!

I haven't seen the thread on medicating your child. I was just going to say, I don't have a problem giving C pain meds Texcept that it's like loopy juice to him) but the girl down the road quite proudly declared that her LG sleeps through from 5m because she puts stopayne in her bottle EVERY night, wow I didn't know what to say to her! DH was shocked!

Angie- C adores his dummy and I have made peace with that. I get a lot of comments and stares when we go out and he has it but I aslo get that from using the reigns, I challenge anyone who dare to ask why I do what I do with my child to confront me! Especially now I'm pregnant! LOL I won't take C's dummy away until he is ready to give it up. If he puts it down during the day I put it up high but if he asks for it then I give it. It's how he finds comfort but also I think he likes to chew the dummy for teething.
