OOO Julz, sounds intriguing, good luck! Glad you had a nice weekend.
How pants was that footie?! Us Brits should be used to it by now I suppose.
Mandy I'm afraid I'd be joining your husband, I enjoy the fottie and stay up most nights to watch the matches heheh. I've only been missing them when I'm too dogtired to stay awake lol. As for Cam climbing out of his cot, yikes, definitely time for that trellidoor! Oliver has never once tried to climb out, I was reading about it the other day and they say some kids just never do. Luckily even if he did the door handles are too high for him to reach so he'd be trapped in his room lol.
I'm also brutally honest about having a kid, those first six weeks are the absolute worst, its kinda ok for the first 2 then for us it just went pear shaped until both Oliver and I found our rhythm. Theo and I honestly said (on more thn one occassion lol) during that time "WTF have we done, can we put it back?!" Its flipping hard work but we all know that its worth it. I said to my mum the other day, the tiredness from this pregnancy isn't affecting me anything like it did when I was pregnant with Oliver and I'm almost certain its because when you become a mum you are permanently tired to some degree and you just get used to it so the added tiredness of pregnancy is nothing new. Just my philosophy hehehe
Vix I'm glad you're warming up to the idea, it must be frightening but like we all say, you've learnt so much with C and you have all of us here for support whenever you need us
Zee - enjoy some me time! Oliver also gets chapped cheeks, I've been putting Johnsons petroleum jelly on them at night and after 3 nights he's nearly all cleared up. I'd been using aqueous creams but nothing seemed to be working and I had a tub of the jelly stuff as a freebie sitting in the draw so I thought I'd try it.
Pfairy - Wow, if Oliver didn't sleep during the day I'd be finished! Sounds like you had a nice time for your dad's birthday, I think your DH needs to give mine some tips on cleaning up
AFM no intention still to find out baby's sex, it just adds to the excitement. I feel a bit detached from this pregnancy at the moment as there has been so much going on but I'm not complaining cos I'm afraid I'm not one of those ladies that enjoy being pregnant lol. I've found it so frustrating this weekend without Theo, soooo much I want to get on with but I can't because it involves lifting heavy boxes or dragging heavy furniture and I just don't want to risk doing something stupid. I bought a new computer stand (flat pack) and its still sitting in the car as its just too big and awkward for me to carry, so annoying. And this time round I can really feel when I'm straining myself so I know I have to be careful
Oliver has been giving me grief the whole weekend, is been arelief to put him to bed at night lol. He's really testing me at the moment, he's constantly testing the boundaries to see how far he can push me, its so annoying! And he's really missing Theo I think, what with the move and everything Theo hasn't spent any quality time with him over the last month and I think he's really starting to feel it. I also think he;s teething as we're waiting for the last molars and after months of not doing it he's just started dribbling again...
Not sure what to make for dinner, I hate cooking for one so think I might just make pancakes
