I feel even better now, jyst a few hours later, by next week I'll feel excited I'm sure. I feel like I could puke every 5min today but I'm sure the stress is just making the MS more apparant.

When I found out I was having a boy I was heart broken but as soon as I went looking at boys clothes I started to accept it wasn't that bad so I think sunday maybe we're going to go buy the DVD 'in the womb multiples' and take a walk around baby city and see what twin stuff looks like and what it costs EEEK today I have a birthday party to attend at 12 so busy enough today.

One bonus of having twins, Elwyn is going to get a domestic back for me when I start to get a bit bigger and until we are settled with the twins so at least that will be a huge help. I'm going to pack up baby bear and turn it back into a spare room for my mum (yes I know I said I would die if she came to stay but I suppose I don't stand much chance with twins LOL) I feel like organising the house and getting the baby stuff out of storage might help me to get excited.

I have neglected my duties and need to do washing so I dug in the back of my cupboard and found a pair of jeans I haven't tried before I fell pregnant. They were a little bit too tight, you know when they cut into the legs and make like rolls on the back of your thighs? I put them on and they're baggy!!! He he he, I'm growing a belly and shrinking my thighs LOL

I am determined to eat right and stay active but carefully and hopefully these babies will grow well and stay in for a long time.

Can you tell I'm convincing myself it's o.k? LOL

Vix, when I found out I was pregnant I could also not sleep. I used to toss and turn and wake up crying lol. C was so worried.

You know, I have a close friend of ours that's pregnant aswell, and the other day I was very honest to her about having children and another friend told me to shut up because I'm scaring her. I turned to her and said "You don't have kids. You can tell her it's wonderful because you hand the kid back to the parent when you are sick of it. She is GOING TO BE that parent so I WILL be honest with her because she needs to KNOW!!" I think she's still pissed of but I couldn't care less. If everyone tells you how amazing it is and when you look at your baby harps start playing and doves fly away you're going to get a big flipping shock! My SIL told me the truth and I hated her while I was pregnant but afterwards, I appreciated SOOO much that she was so honest.

I must say, I don't know HOW i got to 38 weeks with the twins. I think my height was a big factor. Because I was overweight, and I was sure I was going to get gestational diabetes, which I didn't. I didn't sit still much and I was always up and out. But my mom always said I have wide hips because I'm meant to carry children lol so I guess that was it. I just never gave much thought to it. I told myself I wouldn't get heartburn and I would make it to atleast 37 weeks. And I did lol. Pity I didn't tell myself earlier that I wouldn't get MS!!

Well It's 3am and I can't sleep (who would've guessed LOL)

I'm feeling a bit better already, Me & Elwyn talked about it all a bit and he made me feel a bit better. I know that 2 babies is going to be great, I just fear the birth/NICU bit so much but I will read and read and try to live the most healthiest lifestyle possible and do whatever I need to to ensure these babies stay put. I have a few factors on my side, I suffer with very low blood pressure (110/70 yesterday) so hopefully pre eclamsia is not too much of a risk and I have a very narrow pelvis which kept C from ever even entering my pelvic cavity properly so hopefully if the twins can't get down they won't set of an early labour! I am going to stop all baby bear work from August and just focus on being relaxed and healthy.

Wow but the shock! And all my family members are so excited and screaming and cheering down the phone which actually makes me feel worse because I feel like, yeah it is great news if it's not you who has to physically go through it. But I've told them all, don't feel like I'm being a bad person because I can't jump for joy just yet, for me it's a reality check and the reality is emotionally hard for me right now. I will get excited but it will have to come with time.

Ally- Thank you so much for your support, I really admire your honesty. I hate when people tell you it was the most perfect experience, You know I'm a very honest open person and will gladly say I struggled with C so I need honest frank advice because let's face it, I'll find out if you lying then I'm gonna come hunt you down LOL

Julz- I really hope you have a wonderful relaxing weekend! I think after all the stress of Moomie you need a break from the PC, wow people can be nasty and picky hey!

PFairy- that's really crap that they can demote your pay but keep you doing the same old hard work as always. I hate when the workers suffer and the big wigs are living life to the max. If we didn't have such greedy directors of companies the recession really wouldn't have hit people as hard personally. It's always the working class who suffer. Sad to think some people go to bed hungry whilst the director of the company they were retrenched from is drinking whiskey and eating fine food. Very very sad. When I think about how we don't have money for luxuaries I always think, at least I have money for food and wood to keep my house warm, luxuaries can come when times are better. It's horrible to see people sleeping outside at night in winter.

Helen- isn't it terrible, you pay a fortune to an insurance company and they only authorise second hand spares, terrible terrible service! Next time leave a note on your dash "if you're breaking into my car please just steal the whole car, if you don't want it burn it in the middle of a field or write it off but please don't leave it salvagable" LOL Great news on the baba moving, it's your fault I'm awake actually because now I'm wondering if I can feel movement or not LOL About your sIL, don't feel bad for feeling that way, My grandfather was diagnosed with nose cancer, they gave him 3m to live, he's still here 3 years later after lots of treatment but not with re occuring tumors now in his brain plust the horrible side effects of the radiology, he's now blind and almost deaf, what a way to live hey? If you can't see and can't hear what is the point in living? Horrible, I actually think he wishes now that he rather enjoyed his last 3m of llife.

Nicole- I'm so sorry, I feel like I totally bombarded your wedding excitement! I am sure you'll get everything sorted and my best advice, when people offer to help take it and where advice is, take what you like and leave what you don't. MIL's have a terrible way of making you feel like you're wasting her sons money LOL We'll probvably be the same one day when our boys marry!

I wonder how I can make myself tired, well actually I'm tired, just not sleepy.

Vix, First of all, like I said, allow yourself some time to be devestated, uPpset and sad! Its a massive adjustment to make emotionally! Hearing you are carrying twins is incredibly hard because its not really the greatest thing!

Secondly, you CAN make it to full term, I very almost did, well I did for twins. You just need to take it slow and try to stay calm, especially later on! Your babies will probably be in NICU but many twins I've heard about only stay for a few days, mine only stayed for 7 days and believe me, I really appreciated that I could rest and recuperate in peace. And then, you can breastfeed both! I know of twin moms that breastfeed both in 20mins!

Lastly, I think you should join SAMBA. They give you the numbers of multiple moms in ur area, they have support groups and monthly meets. I also actually want to join!

Being a twin mom is hard, tiring and fucking frustrating. But it's also amazing, wonderful and fulfilling! You get to see the bond between 2 babies. Get to see them olay and laugh at each other. Get to see how sad they get when the other is hurt! Its truly miraculous! :)

mmmm, Simone, I forgot about the performance appraisals. We did ours 2 weeks ago. I got a 4 out of 5. The boss said that you must be really good to get 4 out of 5, but they can't give me any thing less, because I add so much value to company. I've made all their systems easier to use. I've simplified and automated all their spreadsheets. And that is what I got.... the minimum.....
