Hi Ladies
D also woke up with a dry nappy this morning so I took her to potty and she made a
huge wee - she was very excited
We've decided to send her to a play school 3 days a week from Aug (to get her used
to going to pre-school for 5 days a week next year)
It's so soon, now I need to start packing her lunch box and laeblling all her clothes
(ie being a REAL SCHOOL MOMMY! )

Went for my 28wk scan yesterday - McK now weighs 1.2kgs


The renovations are coming along nicely - the tiles are done, the parquet floors are restored,
the kitchen cupboards are in (just waiting for the granite tops & appliances to be installed)
DH & I went to Coricraft yesterday to choose our diningroom table & chairs
Then it's just the paint colour to choose

Thankfully we have a tenant from Sept for our current place, so there's not too much pressure
to have the other house completely sorted by next month, but I haven't really had a chance to
start planning D's birthday!

Lovely huge house PM! We also have lots of work on the new house, wish I could do it all straight away, but realistically will be too heavy on the pocket, so we trying to tackle at least 2 big items per year. First item is the kitchen which we are starting on Saturday and then we are deciding on whether we will do our dream bedroom and ensuite or the family bathroom next. Will most likely be the family bathroom though. DH was lucky enough to get a HUGE rebate from SARS so that takes care of most of the kitchen renovations

Em woke up with a dry nappy this morning and first thing she said was "mommy, Emmy weewee toilet!!!" So, we ran to the bathroom and she used the potty. She gets so proud of herself that sometimes she jumps up to show us while she is still busy, then we have wee running down her legs

Oh I have missed u guys!!!

Well, I started working at an accounting firm. And got offered a trainer job, hence studying and doing the one computer exam after the other. Did Pastell Accounting on monday...scraped through! Busy with A+ on weekends.

We also moved house. Our flat is in the market, so we can buy our mansion. Will try post a pic. Love the huge house. Lots of work though.

Hubby in Durbs this week, so it's seriously hectic.

Abby had so many freakin injuries...emergency appendix op, broken finger, feet problems...oi!

Grace still my hokkie bokkie, dreaming of becoming head girl end of the year...working hard towards her goal.

Iz is the most precious little nunu, got these long curls, dunno where the child gets her hair from. Will surely try post pics asap!

Congrats on the expecting mommies....making me broody!

Glad I'm not the only one planning party! Iz is having a Fairy Garden Party.

Emily fell AGAIN on Monday night!! She has a gush on her forehead poor baba was so sad.

Good news is that she is semi potty trained ! She just decided on her own that she did not want to wear nappies anymore. So far we are doing good. THere have been a few accidents, but definitely getting right more than there are accidents. I am so proud of her. Can't believe we are almost done with nappies. No bottles, no nappies no more baby!!

WE start renovations to the new house this Saturday - I am excited and nervous at the same time!! REally hoping that everything works out ok. I am looking forward to decorating Emily's new birdy room though. Will post some pics for you to see.

Em's party plans are coming along nicely. I just hope we have good weather!! WE are hving it outside!!! Its at MIL's house since ours will be "under construction", but they do not have a huge inside area and there are 17 children, so needs to be outside.
We started packing last night! So reality starting to sink in.

I have handed in my exam assignment, so now just waiting on the results wish me luck!!! Also applied for another job today!!! Not sure yet how interested I am, but will see what the offer is (if any). A colleague of mine left here to take up a General Management post at Liberty and asked me if I would be intersted in joining him. I sent him my CV today as requested so will wait and see what happens there. I am a bit bored with my current working environment. But I have it so easy here with working hours, that I am not sure if I want to give that up. I work from 9-3:30 most days so it allows me time with EM in the mornings and afternoons, and I am not ready to give that up.

We were thinking of maybe sending Em to playschool next year, but not sure yet. Will have to see what happens. She seems as if she may be bored at the moment, but could possibly just be the weather. I looked at a few playschools and I am REALLY not ready to send her yet. We always said we would only start sending her halfday at age 3, so will have to see what happens.

No, she could have gotten the flue virus anywhere and its her own immune system that attacked her facial nerve while attacking the flue, so it really is something that just happens!.

Robyn I'm glad I didn't offend. We've never had a 'fight' in our group yet and I wouldn't want to start one
Really wish you guys best in the next couple of months. It sounds incredibly stressful! And then a new baby after that! Hopefully you'll find some time for R&R in the near future and the work on the house will be worth it!
